  1. Neither of those are SMP.
  2. It's probably because your java version, you'll just have to deal with it unless java changes whatever's missing from the 32bit version, or you get a 64 bit machine.
  3. Why does it need to be in the launcher? It's not exactly a complex install. Since there are very few things that can be installed alongside it, that's really all you'd be playing anyways. Just wait until the launcher supports custom packs and set it up yourself.
  4. The reason we do not help these people is that rewarding bad behaviour encourages repeated bad behaviour. The stick is more effective than the carrot in situations where anonymity is a factor. If every time somebody said "TMI DOESNT WORK" they got the answer handed to them on a platter, they would also come in and say "CANT FIND JAVA PATH WAT DO?" and "WHEN IS TEKKIT 3 OUT?". In short, we have a general rule here: You learn, or you get bent. EDIT: Modle Triple Attack, 100% Crit rate enabled.
  5. Please, stop. We really aren't fans of that stuff here. It adds nothing to the conversation and makes you sound like a child who's been dropped one too many times.
  6. In portland we have a thing called the "icanhascheezburger" It's a bacon wrapped patty with barbecue sauce, and instead of buns, it has grilled cheese sandwiches. Also, this thing is delicious. http://www.geekologie.com/2009/03/bacon-and-cheese-stuffed-pizza.php
  7. Jay?

    help ???

I have no idea how that happened, OR why someone would report it more than a month later...
  8. try going to the .jar, right clicking, open with, default program, [whatever JRE calls itself]
  9. no report format, no dice.
  10. Okay, tell us EXACTLY what solutions you have tried.
  11. A head scratcher to be sure. Try disabling your antivirus (cheapshot says MSE works, but it's worth a shot.)
  12. Actually, out of roughly 200,000 people, less than 50 have reported this issue. It sounds like your firewall is blocking technic, otherwise the .Jar would have done the trick. try disengaging your firewall for 10 minutes or so while you get everything up and working.
  13. Fun fact, you did every single thing wrong. All of the things. All of them. take 3 days off and try again.
  14. Don't sign your posts. Also there's a suggestion sticky, use it.
  15. When are you guys gonna learn?
  16. http://www.technicpack.net/technic6/ How did you miss this?
  17. Welcome, to the world of yesterday! Your handcrank buggy and two way shortwave radio will be provided once you sign this waver. Remember: Laser pistols are dangerous, but crack from mars is worse. Seriously though, java is at version 7.0u3, you don't have java 9.
  18. You clearly have absolutely NO clue what an antivirus actually does. Maybe you should shut up and try taking advice rather than trying to tell people which advice is good, hm?
  19. Re: Is there a version of the technic launcher that.....(doesn't ask him to log in) I suppose it depends on the degree to which the derailed topic has settled onto its new rail. This topic seems to have been derailed and then started jittering around like a PS2 character with a buggy skeleton, so i think not.
  20. Re: Is there a version of the technic launcher that.....(doesn't ask him to log in) Uh i think i did it wrong i trued the launcher but all i got was a msg from kakkermox calling me nub and tmi still dusnt werk
  21. Check the "common problems and solutions" sticky for your common problem, and a solution to it.
  22. Chriswhyte, you're using the search bar wrong. It defaults to searching whatever index you're on. You probably searched from this thread, so only posts from this thread will show up. Go to the central index and search again.
  23. come back tomorrow with a real bug report.
  24. Alright, since you have access to them, POST the server logs. Also, have you tried the basic troubleshooting techniques? Clear cache, redownload, check java, etc etc. This is exactly WHY bumps aren't acceptable. if noone can or is willing to answer you, your thread would be taking up space on the front page, pushing someone who may have just gotten there off into the second page.
  25. Was it really too much effort to use the search button?
