  1. 2.1.1 is the current recommended build as well as the most recent. if you're selecting tekkit, you're getting 2.1.1
  2. follow the bug report format. seriously, how hard is it? that is my advice.
  3. there are a lot of terrible posts on this board. yours is possibly one of the worst. take a week off to read stickies. you'll even find your solution there.
  4. something's up with your wireless redstone blocks. download your world, use MCEdit to remove those blocks from the offending area, reupload, see if that works. also, don't double post.
  5. CONGRATULATIONS! you're the 1 millionth poster to post this error without reading stickies or searching for the other 999,999 posts that had this same issue! you win a free vacation for one to wherever the hell you want! 3 days, all expenses paid!(by you) have fun!
  6. you two having what is probably not the same problem, post some info instead of just saying "me too". give us logs, system specs, etc. if you want anything to get done.
  7. I gave you way more than 2 hours and you didn't edit it. plus, you even bumped it to remind me. how nice of you.
  8. 1GB ram won't get you far. I'd be surprised if you could get 3 people on at once with any kind of machinery.
  9. this might actually be a bug with EE, but just to make sure: are you sure you activated the amulet?
  10. I also run a vanilla tekkit server and I have never had this problem. you're probably leaving some areas that a bit too dark. it's easier to do than you think, so just light it up some more and it should be fine. if you're using some extra mob spawn affecting plugins though, who knows what your problem is
  11. Re: "The action Run AppleScript encountered an error" HELP! "user doesn't read stickies or other posts before cluttering up forum with garbage posts" HELP! I'll be nice and give you a couple (2) hours to update your OP with the proper format
  12. try reinstalling tekkit on the server if that's possible. if it's not, contact their support with that error. I've honestly never seen an error log with that particular error before. it's very peculiar and chances are it will have to do with how beastnode is hosting their servers.
  13. are you running two servers from the same directory?
  14. hey guess what? read the stickies! hell, read the front page of the site in general. you know what, let's just boil this down to "read", ok? I'm gonna give you plenty of time to read before making your next completely uninformed and hasty post. deal? deal.
  15. wrong forum. go to the technic bug board and read the stickies. if you still have problems, make a post there using the proper format.
  16. I'm not an expert with PeX, but perhaps having modifyworld.* at the end there is overriding the previous blocks? have you tried putting it at the beginning? I haven't used the plugin before myself so if that is obviously wrong, don't listen to me.
  17. if that does not work, I just was browsing the mac server setup thread and saw something that might be the cause of your issue. look in ~/TekkitServer and see if there's a server.properties in there. if so, make sure it's got the settings you want as well.
  18. no, there isn't. try dropping the memory down to 512mb, see how that works for you. contrary to what you might think, more memory will more than likely not help.
  19. because we're super excited to be puppets!
  20. if you're not planning on using the zepplin mod, you can leave it off. if you are, back up your world file and delete the .techniclauncher folder and reinstall via the launcher then restore your world.
  21. the computer the server is running on. if that's yours, then yes.
  22. ooo I love puppets! IGN: snugglepuppy69 why I would make a good puppet: I think I can fit an arm inside me pretty well my best related skill: covering my face with my lower lip here is what I would want to look like:
  23. then there's 0 reason it should not be picking up your changes. reboot the machine, I guess?
  24. well then you must be editing the wrong file. is the tekkit.jar file in the same place as the server.properties that you're editing?
