I have it on good authority that a lot of common problems, just like yours, have solutions that are listed in them. now, I don't know about you, but when someone told me that I almost died of surprise because I had always assumed those threads were demon possessed and would sell my soul to the devil if I clicked on them, but it's not true! you should totally read them, you even get to keep your soul!

I never would have guessed. there's a fix provided somewhere around here, it was a known issue. it may have been included in the download by now so try redownloading the launcher. if that doesn't work, search for '"OS X" launcher' or something in this forum to find the thread where the mac launcher dev posted a fix. edit: also, almost forgot: yes, you do need a lot of help.

I've been part of plenty of other forums. I've moderated other forums. I wish with all my might that I could have been as direct on those forums without being banned as I can be here. the goal of the forums is not to please everyone, contrary to your belief. the fact that you are not happy that some DUDE (avatar != gender, sir knight) got told along with others who tried to defend them does not make this a crappy forum. nor does the fact that this thread has so many replies make the forum look bad, it serves as a warning to anyone smart enough to see it. if you are a crappy poster, you will be laughed at until you stop posting crap or just stop posting. interestingly enough, if someone does something like this, then gets a clue and starts posting right, it doesn't even come up and no one hassles them about it. why? because we don't give a shit about "who" you are, just what you have to say. if what you have to say is retarded, get bent. that's all there is to it. I tend to use the open face to get the items out of the condenser. the problem with your setup is that it's rather difficult to get the stuff out of the chest. though my solution to this problem when I had it was actually to remove one of the collectors and replace it with a redstone engine to power a wooden pipe to get the diamonds out. before you go, "but freak! wooden pipes + condensers = super map crash bad times!" apparently not when you hook them up to the bottom of the condenser it seems. your setup probably does put out diamonds faster than a standard flower. however, the question is would the EMC spent on the elaborate mobius generator yield better results if put towards making a second flower? my vote is yes it would.

mining laser tunnel bore cobble+macerator = sand not saying EE doesn't provide a massive power gain after a certain point, but it's not the only mod that lets you do crazy stuff.

you can disable the crafting table II in the modloader.cfg pretty easily (this is done server side, no need for client editing). the sounds are mAtmos, I don't think disabling them server side stops them client side, but you're welcome to experiment. I'm also pretty sure there's a way to turn the sounds off inside the mod's own config menus in the game itself. the items are NEI (Not Enough Items), and when playing on a server only OPs can spawn items from it. I'm not aware of a server-side way to disable it from showing certain blocks though. if you want to make it easier to sort through, you can filter it using the text box at the bottom if you have an idea of the name of the item you're after. as for what mod does what, a list of included mods is on the tekkit download page. that's pretty much as good as it gets.

I know Jay? already got here before me on this, but I feel you need to be double laughed at. no one cares what you're doing or why. your 3 subscribers (including your mom) will not die if you don't release a video for a day or perhaps 2 due to update problems.

so, you do know that you can just place a collector, or optimally an anti-matter relay connected to other collectors next to the condenser to feed it EMC, right? all you have to do is cover all sides with that, making the aforementioned 17/5 flower. bam, infinite diamonds. want more, faster? make another next to it. problem solved. works so well that I have an alchemical chest almost completely stuffed with red matter on my server sitting in my flying castle. took a couple of days, but still that's so much EMC I'll never use it all, not to mention it just keeps coming.

as has been stated all over the place, minecraft's recent update has borked the launcher temporarily. just wait a bit for a patch and it'll be fine.

if it is in fact a buildcraft quarry, then pickaxe will work. however, if you're calling an IC2 mining well a quarry because you can't understand that names mean things and people won't just know what you mean via telepathy, then no, a pickaxe will not work. you will need either the IC2 wrench or the IC2 electric wrench to remove it without losing it. if you don't use the electric wrench there is still a chance of losing the machine.

you shouldn't edit the minecraft.jar for tekkit. mods go in the modpack.jar file. if you mess with minecraft.jar, it will redownload it. as for which version of MC it uses, are you blind? you do realize the version number is right there in the corner on the title screen, right? right? I guess not.

go into your %appdata%\.techniclauncher folder and find technic-launcher.jar. if your java is installed correctly, you can just run it by double clicking. if it's not, try right click->open with...-> java

you're correct. how much do you want to bet the OP is either playing with technic, or is playing single player tekkit?
