:-P the forge log states what version is running
Okay, well, Micdoodle has been given all the info I could glean from this, I'll let you know if he has any questions, but he is looking seriously into this.
The forge log at .technic/tekkitmain/ForgeModLoader-Client-0
That said, we now have a tekkit bug report forum and there is an open thread there about this issue, so I'm going to kindly ask that you take this conversation over there. :)
youeatp00: can you confirm that you're on java 1.7_21? There is a known issue that gcraft chokes up networking on versions before that, but upgrading tends to give good results.
Okay, this appears to be in the same situation as a thread I was working on before. I'd instructed him to back up his map and then remove mods individually- beginning with galacticraft, until either the lag stops or you run out of mods. We need to determine whether this is an issue with a particular mod, or with minecraft 1.5.
Hi, we've found that older java versions seriously increase the amount of bandwidth used by galacticraft. Try to get yourself and the server upgraded to Java 1.7_21.
Yes, removing a core mod without removing the mods that depend on it is a bad idea. Remove thermal expansion and omni wrench if you're going to do that.
Well the only thing that occurs to me to try is to back up your world, then start removing mods until you can identify a culprit. I would start with forgebukkit again, and then try galacticraft.
