1.7_17 is old. 1.7_21 is new.
-
You uninstall the old version of java and install the new version of java.
-
Did you forget to read my response? Upgrade java.
-
That's the one!
-
Hi, You should update your java to 1.7_21. I'm not even sure how you're getting this far, as MPS has a _21 dependency.
-
Probably the liquicrafter or the Assembler are good replacements, though they're a little more expensive. We've got our eye on a project table replacement mod to add into a future version.

Steam engines cannot explode, so you were very confused then or are very confused now.

Hi, we've found the real fix for this issue: Modular Powersuits requires java 1.7_21, and this crash is what happens when you don't have it. Upgrade your java and you should be good to go!

Hi, we've found that the root of this issue is your java version: you're using java 1.7_17, but Modular Powersuits requires 1.7_21. Upgrade your java and everything should be fine!

This is a somewhat serious issue and possibly beyond the scope of our forums. I would look at a problem with your hardware or at the OS level. Scan for viruses, test your memory, etc.

No item except Vanilla item only in my server.

Your server is 100% fine. You are either not connecting to the server that produced the log or you're very confused about something in game. -

After running the server is there a file called ForgeModLoader-client-0 in your server folder? -
Well, I'm describing the recipe as set in the tekkit configuration. You're right that a server owner could change it. I do believe that the hard mode thermex recipe uses a filled tesseract though, and doesn't require blaze powder like the hard mode vanilla recipe.

How are you starting it up. -
I keep hearing people say this, but the truth is that in tekkit, a Deep Storage Unit only costs: 8 logs 4 iron 4 glass 4 rubber 1 gold I know that's a lot more than a barrel, but a single rubber tree and a quick trip under ground is enough. On top of that, DSUs store 2 BILLION items and you can break the DSU and the items stay within! Three DSUs is among the very first things I put into my base.

That's a fair point, and I believe you are correct. :)

We spoke with a large number of users about their experience with factorization. While nobody was particularly hostile to it, the users we spoke to used the following factorization features: - Barrels - Wrath Lamps - A couple people used the packager. - No really, that's it. While it's true that factorization does provide solar power which is a new type of generator, something we lack, we would also have been required to include Power Converters to make it work. Also, the solar tower produces such a tiny amount of energy given the space and materials it requires that we could not actually find someone who had made one. Every user who used the packager did so using Power Converters to draw factorization power from other sources- we could find no evidence that our users would be inclined to use factorization solars for anything. More likely, users would continue to power their factories off of the handful of buildcraft generators already included in Tekkit, just like they are now. Essentially, it is a mod that is used because it has a couple unique features, but which nobody actually enjoys using. Instead of including it, we set out to find alternatives. Deep Storage Units make a superior alternative to barrels, Greg's Lighting makes a superior alternative to wrath lamps (but had to be pulled due to an issue at the last moment, and will be going back in soon), and autocrafters are a more annoying packager alternative. I'd like to see a better alternative to the packager, but it's not a terribly common use case. I hope this answers your question sufficiently.

Unlike taint, though, it is possible to deactivate rift spreading in the config, if it's frustrating to you. That said, I've never found them hard to clean up when I find them.

There's probably a place nearby that has a lot of black smokey clouds around. These are dim doors rifts that are expanding and multiplying, and they like to spawn endermen when they get out of control. You'll want to make a rift remover with an ender pearl and 4 gold ingots and use them on the black clouds to eliminate the rifts and stop the endermen from coming through.

Hi, there's a bug where galacticraft oxygen compressors won't work properly in SMP. Micdoodle posted a fix after we informed him of this, and we'll be putting out an updated version of Tekkit soon, but I'm trying to address some other issues at the same time.

You have to start the server with Tekkit.jar, not minecraft_server.jar. Tekkit.jar has the stuff that makes everything work, minecraft_server.jar is an ordinary minecraft server.

Hello, I've spoken with some people about this, and I need your forge log to tell you what's going on. The file I need is .technic\tekkitmain\ForgeModLoader-client-0.log

Hi, please post your server log.
