Thanks to Leth and anyone else who watched the stream tonight! The crashes were plenty and the bugs annoying! Tonight I got the interplanety core into orbit, ironed out the bugs with my launcher, and planned out the rest of the ship. Tomorrow I want to get the crew habitation and a few of the propulsion drives docked and ready then plot my multi-planet flight plan. Viewer input will be heard and likely listened to as I am next to clueless with all I'm doing. Also on the list is some probes and some landers. I have space for four of each and want to have them viewer made. Due to symmetry issues, two of each type will be used. (i.e. two different models landers and two different probes) If you wish to submit a design, upload it to dropbox then send me the link via PM here on the forums. (Don't bother including the docking ports as they may need to be moved with the other, also keep them under 20 tons and 25ish parts. Landers should be able to return crew to orbit from a large planet) Next stream will be tomorrow at about 8:00pm - 9:30pm EST. I hope to see some more viewers next time around!

Little update, we have everything ready to go but cannot get the remote console to work meaning we can't start the server to test it.

Right now the biggest issues are that I'm away on vacation/been grounded and that slayer is always inexplicably away. Once I'm back home and ungrounded I should be able to get it running within a day or so. All the material is there, ready for launch. Its just that no-one can get into the files and add the mods/run the server. Not to mention I have to make a whole new server thread to accommodate the change.

To publish a modpack with technic you have no need for the fake copyrights mod authors put onto the mod. Just compile and enjoy with friends!

Actually we can produce crap tons of the stuff. The problem is that we can't make them very long.

Now that I have remembered to read it, I see that it's nothing new to me. This was literally the first thing we learned when we started getting into the behavior of light.

Because they all know shit all what a copy right is. They think that since they coded it and it's unique code, that it can be copyrighted. This is not the case as the code is based upon minecraft code which is properly copyrighted. This means that even though it is unique code, it cannot have its own copyright.

There is a BETA version of IC2 but it's buggier than your grandfathers old cottage. The rest of those are not 1.5.X compatable. Elo has been twitching with life but I'm not holding my breath for her.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a self destruct counter. I mean, once the new pack comes out the servers are going to be overloaded with activity!! As for the timing you may wish to double check your numbers. If I'm not mistaken it's about five days now though I don't know exactly. Could you do that for all the people too lazy to do it themself? (Ala me)

I mean legally. A modder can't do shit to you no matter what you do with the damn thing. Hell even if you said it was your own they couldn't do anything but maybe put malicious code into their mod to do something to your computer. If they did that then you could sue their ass for messing with your private files.

If you don't want to be called a nubcake then go read the rules of the forums to learn how not to be a nubcake nubcake. This place is run a lot different than most forums are. At first it can be hard but you will soon learn the superiority of here as opposed to any other site.
