Installation on MAC

I would like to know if some could tell me what the standard installation path is for technic launcher on a mac?

the launcher should install there automatically, unless you tell it otherwise

I have had the technic launcher and tekkit and technic mods downloaded on previous computers. I am on a new computer but I am having issues downloading the the pack. I think it might be because i have some old data that is in folders that were copied when i transferred files from the old to the new computer. Also, I am on a mac.

Are there any places I should go to find old data that might be confusing it?

Is there anything else I could look for that might fix things?
