Alchemical Chest is not working

I'm using Technic 6.0.7 and I just made an Alchemical Chest and it isn't transmuting my items.

I dont think the alchy chest does that. You're thinking of the energy condenser which is made from the alchy chest.

Yeah, alchemical chests are used to make energy condensers (Alchemical chest + 4 diamonds + 4 obsidian), but on their own they are just small chests with the storage space of 4 normal chests that can be placed side by side. I like them for just that reason, personally.

The only abilities the Alchemical Chest can do is when you place certain power items in it. Other than that it has no powers on it's own (maybe it's a light source).

Nope. They are used a base to make alchemy bags though.

Nope, you're right on that. It doesn't emit light. The condenser however does.

Alchemical chest is just a big inventory. If you put a Talisman of Repair in it, it will repair damage on most items for free. (Including Thaumcraft magic items, and all tools. I keep my portable hole and crystal bell in it, as well as my screwdrivers/wrenches/crowbars when I'm not using them.)

Indeed. The chest will then begin to repel mobs just like the interdiction torch.
