BenjaBuster Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hey guys so i created my own first modpack YEY. But it doesnt load mods and doesnt show that forge is installed in game. All the folders forge creates are in .technic folder under modpack, testmait. Modpack name is testmait. heres the download link to the modpack:https://www.dropbox.com/s/yp16klify8hrnj0/Modpack.zip?dl=1 logs show that every thing is fine. help please! Quote
InforMaster2 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) when you place the dropbox link on the modpack page you must change the www. to dl. so you would use: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/yp16klify8hrnj0/Modpack.zip?dl=0 also other problems: your modpack.jar is actually modpack.jar.zip. --> remove the .zip Edited June 6, 2015 by InforMaster2 Quote

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted June 9, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted June 9, 2015 Always provide the API URL or a link to your pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance. Your original download URL does not work (returns a 404). Quote

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted June 9, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted June 9, 2015 Maybe I wasn't very clear in my instructions. My bad. I'll try again: Always provide the API URL or a link to your pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance. You are asking for assistance and it behooves you to provide what is requested. The link in your original post does not work. I have little time to go searching for your pack. Please provide a link to it. Quote

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted June 10, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted June 10, 2015 This is the URL I was requesting: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/testmait Your modpack archive should be a ZIP file, not a JAR file. The file in your /bin/ folder is named "modpack.jar.zip". It should be named "modpack.jar". You have the file OptiFine_1.5.2.zip in your /mods/ folder. This won't work. Optifine for 1.5.2 must be inserted into the modpack.jar file. For your convenience, here is a download link for a pre-patched modpack.jar for 1.5.2 with Optifine. Make sure you rename it to "modpack.jar" when placing it into your /bin/ folder: https://copy.com/uvpSFZLgGUxWJhDO?download=1 Quote
