Tekkit [1.2.9e] Spawn Chunk

Hello, apologize if this has already been covered, but is it possible to move the spawn chunk of the server? Would prefer to have it at our home as no one plays in the actual spawn. I see on official minecraft wiki that the command to move it is not in 1.6.4. Does the community have a work-around though?

If you simply want to change the location where players spawn (world spawn) you can edit the map's level.dat file with NBTExplorer and change SpawnX, SpawnY and SpawnZ to whatever you want. This must be done with the server stopped.
