Lothos Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 I was hoping to use BC pipes to move lava up from below ground to a reservoir on the surface made out of cobblestone, but for some reason it doesn't exit the pipe. Am I missing something or is this not possible? Quote

Lothos Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 no no, the exit part. i'm pumping it fine. it's when I get to the surface it wont exit a waterproof bc pipe thats hanging in the air over a pit. Quote
milcondoin Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 I think there is no option do deploy the lava from your pipes directly. What you could do is to use a deployer with buckets on a lava filled tank and then the lava buckets on another deployer to spit the lava out again. But remember, that you place one sourceblock of lava with this, which will not move on its own, so the second pulse of the deployer will waste lava. If you want a sea of lava on your surface, it is better to fill some lava buckets and then place the lava blocks manually to your liking. Quote
Lothos Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 thats a bummer. I guess I go with my previous design of a giant tank warehouse then. Quote
danidas Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 if you want to pump it into a reservoir you want to use a redpower pump and pipes. BC pumps/tubes can only pump into tanks or machines and not into the world. The redpower pump system will pump source blocks from one location and fill another with them. Quote
