The_DarthMoogle Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Nice to see the cinematic accurately reflects how unbalanced PVP is... Just ain't enough to get me back in, I'm afraid.
Xylord Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 So they killed Arthas and replaced him with Pandas... Sorry, badassness objective unreached, critical failure of system incoming.
jakj Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 Dude, come on. I'm going to replace my combat sounds with Jackie Chan movie clips. It'll be amazing.
Xylord Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Dude, come on. I'm going to replace my combat sounds with Jackie Chan movie clips. It'll be amazing. Sounds good. But I'd rather go with Bruce Lee. :D
Neowulf Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 The crossover potential between leroy jenkins and bruce leroy is perfect with the inclusion of pandas.
Xylord Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 The crossover potential between leeroy jenkins and bruce leroy is perfect with the inclusion of pandas. You forgot a link, but I fixed it. ;D No worries.
jakj Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Oh god, I have seen that movie so many fucking times it is not even funny. I mean really, I have seen that movie so many times, I've memorized entire scenes of dialogue, WITH inflection. AND timing. It's absurd. Did I watch that entire video again anyway? Yes. Best. Movie. Ever.
Jorcer Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 You forgot a link, but I fixed it. ;D No worries. nice fix... PS: that link goes to http: haha
Cheap Shot Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Couldn't watch without hearing Jack Black in my head.
Jorcer Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Don't think of it as a lazy/short post. I prefer to say that I was concise and practical.
jakj Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 Now that I've experienced Guild Wars, I'm having trouble trying to think about playing wow again. I just...It fixes so many mistakes wow refuses to fix. Sigh.
Adlersch Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I'm still all-in for Planetside 2, and I only ever play one MMO (And usually one game) at a time, so...
Jorcer Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 What with me being in uni for the first time, I'm trying to avoid MMO's for now. Planetside does look fun though...
Adlersch Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Great thing about Planetside is that it also caters to casual players who don't have a lot of time like myself or you. We can literally just sign in, go fight for 5 minutes, sign out, go to class/work/whatever, come back, sign in for 2 hours, sign out, with basically zero waiting time other than actually loading the world.
jakj Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 But what could casual play like that possibly get you in an intense team-play game? What singleplayer component could an FPS possibly have? Besides, the graphics are the same old bleh in every other FPS besides Team Fortress: Tans and browns, tans and browns, with the occasional grassy area. Completely subjective, obviously, but just once I'd like a large widespread FPS with progression that isn't muddy and swampy and doesn't require you to be on a skilled team.

jakj Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 Borderlands? Interesting; I'll give it a look.
The_DarthMoogle Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Borderlands? Interesting; I'll give it a look. Borderlands has an interesting art stlye, granted. But it's wasted on the locations and enemies. (Brown desolate corrugated industrial areas filled with hockey mask bandits and the odd bug) Numero dos looks batshit insane, in every sense of the phrase, and has some deep looking progression. It also has more guns, because number one definitely didn't have enough.[/sarcasm] Although it won't require you to be on a skilled team, grabbing some friends would be next to essential for epic sauce.
