minecraftwithdavid Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hello. I dont know how to pitch this, but here goes :s My program will watch your server as you play, and if someone greifs, simply type into the console/ingame chat '' /fixgreif '' and my program will view where your player is, and rollback any of the surrounding area near you, 30 seconds back. also, if someone might be hacking your server, by such means as a trojan virus/fake user/bot etc, then this will also remove them, ban them and send a data bomb to their IP. this data bomb is Fully UnDetectable (FUD) and will delete their system32 folder. use with caution LOL, send it to every hacker you meet an mess those bursturds up lol. this is freeware, so go ahead and send it to your friends if they play on ur server. ALSO this doubles as a runescape hacker-prevention. if youve got an RS account, this will safeguard your playing sessions, so no one can steal your password. ENJOY :D
minecraftwithdavid Posted September 27, 2012 Author Posted September 27, 2012 the DL location is as follows No. almost forgot it LOL
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Seems a little bit of overkill to data bomb hackers just for hacking a minecraft server. I mean I'm a hacker but only for the good of the forums (and fun on the side). Plus I feel like this is suspicious...

I mean I'm a hacker but only for the good of the forums (and fun on the side). Plus I feel like this is suspicious... yeah, i know its a bit of overkill, but my server was hacked and some bastard nuked everything. i wasnt happy. do i care if its overkill? not in the slightest. what happens before theyre pc dies? www.randomlink.org opens up in 50 browsers. Mod Edit: Why would you actually post the link here? Really, why? i hate hackers mostly. they make it hard for me to enjoy doing nothing all day

Also how are you any better than the hacker? I would argue that you are actually worse as, instead of ruining something in a game, you are forcing them to not only reinstall their OS (which many people have no back ups of) but also subjecting them to disgusting hardcore porn. (Which you did in this post thus breaking a rule)

(Which you did in this post thus breaking a rule) ok, fair enough. but when the only thing i had worth backing up, was practically blown clean out of my HDD, i have a personal hate for them. and the lemon party bit is just hilarious lol. it also guarantees that they wont be able to stop the shutdown process, due to the over use of ram. i could always change the souce code quicky. what would you prefer this do instead?
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I think the concept of stopping them is enough right there. If you keep them away from your server the problem is solved. Why would you want to potentially escalate the conflict. Hackers are vindictive sons of bitches and many have some skills that could make your real life difficult (like you are doing)
minecraftwithdavid Posted September 27, 2012 Author Posted September 27, 2012 fair enough. but what if i make their pc open up a webpage, that just displays a message such as ''youve been banned'' or ''dont hack me, or ill hack you'' ? and ive removed the data bomb. now it just removes their .minecraft folder in the appdata slash roaming
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hey I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just expressing my opinion. The message display seems fine to me but its not really for me to say. It seems that removing their minecraft folder makes little sense as (like I said before) it could lead to more hostility and it has nothing to do with Tekkit
gotyaoi Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Small public service announcement. I havent had a chance to look at this program myself, but as a general rule, running random exe files you download off the internet is a bad idea. OP, do you have any proof that what you're distributing isn't the a virus or something equally terrible? Also, the only reference for FUD as an acronym for Fully UnDetectable I can find is a wikipedia page with no sources and no links to it. Just saying.
Nixsy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I can honestly say, If anyone has downloaded and run this file they may be in trouble. https://www.virustotal.com/file/d92245dd8268e2ac61402dd7ee74cdeeac0ab01114ff22e5c2df220ddd30f68b/analysis/1348795140/ http://anubis.iseclab.org/?action=result&task_id=10e9b0834e6ec2a64e1d52b379bed1f79 The anubis scan was just uploaded so has more than likely not finished yet.

And I agree (and forgot to put it in my post) don't download this without extra caution.
jakj Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 FUD has always meant "Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt" as applied by IBM to keep their market share, back in the day they were known as "Big Blue". In other news, for behavior like this, you are not a hacker: You are a script kiddie. Just for reference, a hacker is someone who gets things done, a cracker is someone who gets into places they shouldn't, and a script kiddie is a monkey throwing poo at other monkeys throwing poo. (Expertise and ability have very little to do with the designation.) Also, just so you know, there is a small number of countries that have defined what you propose as terrorism, and will actively attempt to imprison you for it, if they can get you in their jurisdiction (or extradited to it), if you happen to catch the eye of (or do harm to) somebody important.

Straight to the Terrorism charges, I like it Semi-related, am I a hacker or a cracker (or a craking hacker?)
Watchful11 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Just reading this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This person claims to have written a program that can, Keep track of block changes on a server, and roll them back in a radius. This in itself can be done with several plugins. But he claims to do it just be running his file, no instructions to install it as a plugin. Also, any program that tracked that data could surely do more with it than revert an area by 30 seconds. And how is that supposed to help anyway? He also seems to suggest this can be done from the client side, since he doesn't mention anything about running it on a the server, just your computer. It also can detect it someone is "if someone might be hacking your server". Also client side. It can then modify your ban list to ban them. Then it somehow sends a very powerful "data bomb" to wreck their computer. While also opening a large quantity of hardcore porn. This program simultaneously "doubles as a runescape hacker-prevention". Which has absolutely nothing to do with preventing griefing on a minecraft server. This also requires it to be installed on your computer, not your minecraft server. He says, with bad spelling and grammer, that he wrote this program, while his only other post on these forums is that he apparently can't install java. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-starting-issue.20696/ I have no idea what that download is, but I am confident isn't anything good. After this rant I feel somewhat safe in asking that his links be taken down.
jakj Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Semi-related, am I a hacker or a cracker (or a craking hacker?) It's difficult to pin you down, but "cracking hacker" may not be inaccurate. You seem to be a bit more stern and violent than the average hacker, and more concerned with the effects of your actions rather than the goals to which your actions are applied. (Meaning you seem to care much more for the ripples of your swimming than for reaching the other side of the pool.)

Everyone know it's bad luck to know how to swim. On a serious note: Thanks for the complement? (It sounded like one but I can be pretty dense sometimes [Damn helmet])

jakj Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Because quoting links you want removed is a good idea. EDIT: Oh, nevermind, those are the virus reports. I can't keep up with this shit late at night. You kids keep ungodly hours, and I'm going to bed. >_<

poryy Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Why isn't this whaleboxed? It's retarded enough.
Guest Ysharma Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 It is, maybe the mods are fearful of this almighty coders packet bomb or whatever the hell he claims to use
jakj Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Most likely it isn't whaleboxed because the whalebox is for posts that are actually entertaining in their stupidity: It's a showcase, not a landfill. Why in the ever-loving doublefuck did you resurrect a thread more than a month old to say THAT?
