CinereousChris Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) So...here's my issue. I compiled a few mods for a test pack that I was hoping to eventually share among my friends. However, after doing all the steps correctly regarding the mods folder, bin folder and zipping the file (I'm 100% it was done right, I watched like every single tutorial), I couldn't install the modpack. I put in my dropbox share link, changed the dl=0 to dl=1, and when I put the modpack install link in to my technic launcher, it proceeded to install endlessly. It'd gone through installing "chivalrous-technology-1.0.zip" about 5 times before I closed technic. Heres the download link: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/chivalrous-technology Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n7xejuajkecpl5y/modpack.zip.zip?dl=1 Where did I mess up? EDIT: I tried installing it again, this time it just went through 3 times and stopped by itself. Edited March 9, 2016 by CinereousChris Quote
Moderators AetherPirate Posted March 9, 2016 Moderators Posted March 9, 2016 Gave it a quick look, your modpack.zip is named modpack.zip.zip, and I cannot unzip without using 7zip. Re-zip it using the native Windows zip utilty, re-upload, increment your pack number and try again. Quote

But initially, it was just modpack.zip (.ip just being an extension) and I still had the issue. Then I received advice that adding the .zip might work. I dunno, I'll re-zip it though.
