ivolakit Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 So I recently created this modpack http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/ivolakit-custom-modpack and when I ran it and it worked fine, when I launched the game however no mods were available. Help? Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 15, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted April 15, 2016 Public DropBox URLs should be altered in the following manner: Change "www" to "dl". Change "dropbox" to "dropboxusercontent". Remove any trailing "?dl=0" or "?dl=1" (including the question mark). Make sure you are incrementing the pack version number any time you alter the pack data or metadata. The Forge universal binary JAR file in /bin/ must be named "modpack.jar". Yours is named "CustomModPack.jar". You have no config files in your pack. This is always bad. I would recommend using something like the BareBonesPack to build and test your pack so that you can get all your config files and edit them as needed before including them in your published modpack archive. You have a fatally ancient version of Biomes O' Plenty. You have the deobfuscated version of Botania. This version is only intended for use by mod developers and will not work in your pack. You need the standard release version. Your ChickenBones Mods are fatally out of date. You should be using the latest 1.7.10 versions from the link here. You should be including the /mods/1.7.10/ folder and its contents in your modpack archive. Quote
ivolakit Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 Ok, so I updates Biomes O' Plenty, ChickenBones Mods and changed the URL. Confused on how you " You should be including the /mods/1.7.10/ folder and its contents in your modpack archive. " Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 15, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted April 15, 2016 The same way as the other bullet point: You have no config files in your pack. This is always bad. I would recommend using something like the BareBonesPack to build and test your pack so that you can get all your config files and edit them as needed before including them in your published modpack archive. ivolakit Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 Ok thanks, Anyways a new problem occured with my modpack, it said quote "Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation The mods and versions listed below could not be found Forge: minimum version required is 10.13.4.1566 The file 'logs/fml-client-latest.log' contains more information (Added log) fml-client-latest.log Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 15, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted April 15, 2016 If your pack has Forge #1558 (which it does), and the error message says, "minimum version required is ...1566", what would you think you would need to do to fix the problem? If your answer was, "Update my Forge to the latest 1.7.10 version (i.e. 1614)", then you would be correct. Quote
