Technic launcher won't launch any modpacks.

So anyways, about last year I got a new computer, and Alienware x51. I played modpacks all of the time on my old computer, but now with my new computer, I can't even start a modpack. I launch the technic launcher and try to launch a modpack. Then the modpack tries to open, but it closes instantly, almost like a crash. My java is 64- bit 1.8.0_101 and I run 3 GB of ram. I don't know what else I can tell you, but please try to help me, I love playing modpacks.

Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx512M

Run this file, restart your launcher, try again.
