Eliminator Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 You can power a fast electric engine with dirt and the dirt never depletes:
TehGrumpyGamer Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I just tried this with a Regular Electric Engine and can verify it does indeed power it and doesn't deplete.
Eliminator Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 So this is like a huge bug right? What mod are the electric engines from?
Kiwionrails Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 So this is like a huge bug right? What mod are the electric engines from? Power Converters IIRC
rowanmc19 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Is there anyway to fix/prevent thin besides bannind the engines/removing the mod capapbilities?
andrewdonshik Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Power Converters IIRC Wrong. Transformers.
Yumil Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Is there anyway to fix/prevent thin besides bannind the engines/removing the mod capapbilities? I disabled dirt, minium stones, and replaced all dirt with Basalt Paver. sorted Dirt is imba and forbidden.
Kiwionrails Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Wrong. Transformers. Oops, wasn't sure, i stand corrected. :)
Yumil Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 How did you disabled dirt/stones? Sorry, my post was a ruse for some cheap laughs at the thought of "disabling" and replacing all dirt.
Samuri Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 It's a game-ruiner for the people who want to play it properly and without screwing the configs. You can't just Disable Electric Engines in the config otherwise the server won't start at all. Does anyone know who actually made the transformers mod? It would be great to ask them to make a patch available. The bug is so dumb that it just has to be a developer debug option that got forgotten about when the engines were coded. I have no clue how to decompile java class files and edit them or I'd look through the mod's code to find it myself...
pandypants Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 it's a debug thing the designer forgot to turn off
Calvin54 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Wrong section.. This should be in the tekkit lite bugs :/
