Created a new reply so you can get a notification. Also I didn't see that I needed to upload my attemp.

So, I want to get a simple modpack and a server launcher of it.

First I tried without reading/watching any tutorial.

Then I tried your tutorial. It didn't work (download link)

Note: I created my own modpack.jar file and downloaded a modpack and tried my modpack.jar it worked, then i added the mods. When I launch, it freezes in mojang and it says "Not working". Tried it 3 or 4 times and nothing I even waited like half hour and still frozen.

I did attempt to create this on my own, but I screwed up the shaders somehow and couldn't get it to start, this was a few weeks ago though so i did delete it ): however I did my best to make this as easy to do as possible as all of the mods are downloaded and organized and just need to be integrated. I watched some tutorials on Youtube, but I could only get a few mods working at once, and never got the shaders going (my PC's hardware is not the problem, I just screwed up the install).

I've tried so many times, but really all I want is Minecraft 1.6.2 with Minecraft Forge. If you guys could do that for me I'd be extremley happy. I also have looked form modpack on the platform but all of them, whilst in the progress of downloading, had an error unzipping. Thanks in advance!

You can't have 1.6.2 on the Platform yet. So, if you want to have Forge on 1.6.2 you'll need to do it on the normal MC launcher. And since Forge now comes with an installer, if I remember correctly, it's even easier than before.

Also, please go read the rules. It'll save you a warning.

I've been following this thread for a long time. Seeing as Luke gave us a guide, it would be nice to follow it.

I'm not saying this on my own behalf, like I'm a besserwisser, but for both Luke and you requesters. See, if you don't try, he won't help you. All the packs he finishes are by persons who've actually tried! So please act like gentlemen. Don't just throw the work over to Luke and his friends.

I am trying to make a modpack following the guide now. Shouldn't be to hard.
