pixartist Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 So yeah, one of the better new features of minecraft stopped working with Tekkit. How can I turn blocks (stairs) upside down with Tekkit installed on my server ?
Pandemoneus Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Tekkit is still for Minecraft 1.1, whereas "upside down stairs" are introduced 1.2.
SimpleGuy Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 With a hacksaw in RedPower2, you can make any block into upside down stairs, and have been able to for a lot longer than Minecraft 1.2

OmegaJasam Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 I've yet to successfuly make stairs with redpower, what materials make a stair like shape?

Place 3 down to make a stair-like feature, any orientation. Almost any material. Note that smooth lighting doesn't work with RedPower microblocks too well.
Blocker226 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I prefer 1 Block Slab Strip and 1 Slab of the same material for that. The wooden Microblocks also look great when it comes to decorating trees.

Smooth lighting is a bitch with redpower Q.Q is there any fix? its very annoying and rather pointless having covered stuff when it looks weird in the light.
Truculent Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Sure, but the fix is to turn off smooth lighting...
