how do i use these MFR machines? and of what significance are they? i havent dabbled in the dark arts of meat packing yet. also, i saw somewhere that there are zoologist villagers, what exactly do they do?

The slaughter house, when powered, kills any meat producing mob in a 5x5 block area in front of it and outputs pink slime. This can be fed into a meat packer by either placing the meat packer next to it or feeding it via a liquiduct, you can use a liquid tesseract but I've found this to be buggy. It then produces a mixture of meat nuggets and meat ingots. I've found that the most effective way to use these machines is to have the meat packer output the meat into a powered furnace and then a cyclic assembler with a schematic for meat blocks, the nuggets will get in as well so you'd need some way to deal with that. I personally just take them out manually every once in a while.

I'm pretty sure you can cook and eat Meat Ingots.
