TheLunarPhantom
I would like to know which mod(s) in the pack are resetting my xp to level one upon death also not giving me full hunger when I respawn. And is there a way to switch it off without deleting the mod.
Dewfire
Huh? This a joke?
TheLunarPhantom
Nope whenever I die I go down to 1xp level and half a hunger bar.
TheLunarPhantom
Did more testing it seems that I drop half my xp levels when dying.
funknapkin
That's a vanilla mechanic.... http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Health#Death
TheLunarPhantom
Nope I have keepInvetory enabled so I'm not supposed to lose xp on death either way I don't lose it all only half which isn't vanilla also resetting hunger bar to half is not vanilla you respawn will a full bar in vanilla. funknapkin
Just tested in a new test world, and I spawned with a full hunger bar after death. My guess is whatever you used to keep your inventory on death is causing it. Don't know about the exp though.
TheLunarPhantom
I use the gamerule keepInventory which is odd its never caused any issues before with hunger or xp 0.o.
cobaltwarrior19
keepInventory is a gamerule that you can enable via /gamerule keepInventory true, (if I remember the command right). In vanilla when you die you keep your inventory and your xp stays at the same level it was when you died, but I've noticed that in Hexxit your xp drops to a set amount. I'm not sure what the determining factor is but, I do know that on several occasions my xp drops to an amount like 20, or 29 if my xp is above 30. I did actually gain xp this morning, where I was at Lv. 5 and then was killed by a harbinger, and when I respawned was at Lv. 20.
TheLunarPhantom
Yea that's what I'm seeing with my xp the hunger thing stopped but even with keepInventory on my xp goes down can anyone find a way to disable this?
ChrisB
why so easymode?
Punisher
Try returning to your death point, and mining the gravestone that marked your death. IIRC, I did that, and got my exp back.
Sleaker
From config/TinkersWorkshop.txt #################### # difficulty changes #################### "difficulty changes" { B:"Enable mod bone tools"=true B:"Enable mod cactus tools"=true B:"Enable mod stone tools"=true B:"Enable mod wooden tools"=true B:"Keep hunger on death"=true B:"Keep levels on death"=true B:"Remove Overworld void fog"=true B:"Turn water clear"=true } seems like the keep levels thing is bugged though or ignored completely. TheLunarPhantom
Ok so everyone knows that's having this issue change keep levels on death to false and you will then keep your levels 0.o.
