Shadows Hoarded Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I downloaded the newest version of tekkit after seeing 100+ videos of it and wanting to try it. I start a world and find an island that seems like the perfect size to level out and use for a base of operations. After removing all the sand and dirt i am left with a full inventory. I look up in NEI for an energy condenser to be able to get rid of the useless items and possibly condense some wood and ores. There is no condenser anymore??? I understand the goods and bads of having the condenser like how it gets too easy and that its only good for noobs. But if you look at it from a users perspective, you see that its also a way to use useless blocks like dirt, cobble, gravel, etc. It allows everything to be used in someway so its not just being thrown away. If you are going to take out the condenser because it makes the game too easy, then take out the commands like fly, fireball, etc. And while you are at it take out the power suit because you are indestructible in it. It doesnt make the game and harder practically having god mode so take that out aswell. My point is that it has a use and was very handy for people who are going to use it rightfully. If you want to condense diamonds then go the hell ahead but thats what you want to do to make the game easier. Please replace the condenser.
Melfice Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Replace it with what? Give me a link to the mod that would be able to replace the condenser.
Maxis010 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 OK, so you don't have the condenser, there are several other storage methods you can use that aren't THAT expensive (DSU's anyone) for processing later
Shadows Hoarded Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 Im not talking about storage mods, im talking about making use of everything in the game, even pointless blocks.
Shadows Hoarded Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 Replace it with what? Give me a link to the mod that would be able to replace the condenser. Replace it as in restore it to the game.
disconsented Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Replace it as in restore it to the game. You are obviously new here so: The mod it was in, is gone.
Lethosos Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Replace it as in restore it to the game. Says the hundred or so already bothering Pahimar over the lack of EE machines in EE3. Go make a Philosopher's Stone, change it all to sand, and smelt it all to glass. Now go make that underwater observatory post.
Shadows Hoarded Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 was the macerator removed aswell? i wasnt able to find it in NEI
Shadows Hoarded Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 You are obviously new here so: The mod it was in, is gone. What is the mod so i may add it in. I dont belive it was removed because the chest used to make the condenser is still in the modpack.

Equivalent Exchange 2 was removed, Last Version was 1.2.5 compatible Equivalent Exchange 3 is in the pack, which has the alchemical chest you are seeing
Lethosos Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 It's also used for alchemical bags, too. Go bother Pahimar if you want "creative mode" back, we like the neutered version better as it isn't unbalanced. He's busy writing EE3, so go load up Technic Classic if you miss EE2 that badly.
dwwojcik Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 was the macerator removed aswell? i wasnt able to find it in NEI IC2 is dead. We have Thermal Expanison now. Look up pulveriser.
Melfice Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Replace it as in restore it to the game. As somebody else already mentioned, it can't be restored, since the last version of the mod was for 1.2.5. I was hoping you were going to do a bit of digging and find it out yourself when I asked. Oh well.
Lethosos Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him wear a swimsuit."
_Mataroyale_Modpacker_ Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 "Condensers have been removed. A suitable replacement with new mechanics will be added in the future."
Lethosos Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Please note that it has been at least half a year since that statement.
_Mataroyale_Modpacker_ Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Please note that it has been at least half a year since that statement. Has it been the future yet? I haven't played EE3 in forever.
dwwojcik Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Pahimar is working on implementing 'Dynamic' EMC, I presume machines to utilize the new mechanic will be forthcoming.
Lethosos Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Has it been the future yet? I haven't played EE3 in forever. Let's put it this way: In my hand is a little machine that has more computing power than UNIVAC, which was considered top of the line in computers almost half a century ago, and took up the space roughly the size of your living room. So, yes, it's the future. But, as Calvin once asked, "Where's the flying cars?"
_Mataroyale_Modpacker_ Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 "Where's the flying cars?" Scientific progress goes boink.
Melfice Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 "Where's the flying cars?" We have flying bicycles these days. Not commercially, of course, but they exist. So, I guess that's at least something?
TheBytemaster Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Scientific progress goes boink. Exactly. Where are our replicators? Where are the transmogrifiers?
dwwojcik Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Where the heck did Calvin get his time machine!?! I could use one of those.
Lear85 Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 You can easily order one in the mail. They're usually bundled with completely unrelated items such as microwaves, refridgerators, and large amounts of fruit.
