After about 10 minutes, the game, regardless of which modpack, the fps drop drastically. This only stops after I completely restart the game.

Sorry if false section, I#m new to this forum.

Isnt the auto save period of MC 10 minutes?

If it is then its your HDD that is letting you down and there isnt much you can do that is free. (except maybe optifine)

by default, it's 2 seconds. and you can't use Optifine, Hexxit has TConstruct.

because it's not trying to load 50+ mods. I'm assuming you are using 32-bit system?

no, i'm using windows 8.1 64 bit, some other details: 8-gigabyte ddr3 RAM, 750 gb HDD, a nvidia geforce GT640M, and a Intel Core i5-3210M with 2.50 GHz

and you can't use Optifine, Hexxit has TConstruct.

It's true that both mods don't like eachother, sometimes the rendering flickers on the smeltery and the lava looks like it is outside the tank.

But otherwise it works and runs fine, I recommend installing Optifine if you have lag issues
