jremi Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 As the title reads... How do I make a plane or a tank or something? When I go into the vehicle crafting table, it only comes up with the 2 mechas, but theres no planes or cars or anything :/
jremi Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Bump, please tell me there is a fix to this????????????
Brigadon Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 There's no planes or cars in the modpack. if you want to add them, feel free to do so.
Jasonsj10 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 This modpack does not have planes or cars only guns. I am happy for that. They are extremely glitchy on Singleplayer and mostly on multiplayer. As a server owner it would be hell to host a server with planes/cars.
clone wars Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 how do I make tank in the game It is really annoying ppllllllleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssseeee telllll me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ProMCGamer_ Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I think they said that they added Flans Mod just for the mechs at the release livestream so modpack doesnt have other vehicles from the flans mod other than mechs
aceandduce Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I can't figure this out I made all the stuff for a mech and it didn't craft
Loader Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 You need an "Advanced CPU" to go into the engine slot, ace - it's probably that.
Moderators Munaus Posted March 18, 2014 Moderators Posted March 18, 2014 How to add planes and tanks ? Please help me You look at Flan's mod site and download the mod(s) that adds planes and tanks, then add them in the mods folder on Attack of the B-teams modpack folder
Roversword Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 You look at Flan's mod site and download the mod(s) that adds planes and tanks, then add them in the mods folder on Attack of the B-teams modpack folder Just to make sure I understand that... I would need to do that on both, client and server, if I would want to run more stuff from Flan's Mod on a multiplayer server. Is that correct?
Loader Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 That's right, if it's on the server but not the client the client just gets error messages when they try to join.
fusemc74 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I did a tutorial on how to add planes an other packs to flans.. hope it helps! tx.... Also please take the time to check out my other tutorials! I'll do mothers apon request.
BigAl607 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Well it seems rather foolish to me to have the ability to craft all of the parts for the tanks, planes, etc., but not actually craft the vehicles themselves. If they aren't going to let you actually craft the vehicles, they should remove the ability to craft the parts.
Loader Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 The parts pack is a basic requirement of Flans mod, you can't remove it and have any Flans mod vehicles. I suppose the recipes could be disabled - is that what you mean?
Kalbintion Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I suppose the recipes could be disabled - is that what you mean? How would the recipes be disabled in this modpack exactly? The flansmod.cfg file only contains three settings related to the block IDs, unless I'm missing a config file.
Loader Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 No, I was meaning through the addition of another mod like MineTweaker or Custom Recipes. I don't think Flans provides a way to disable those itself.
Kalbintion Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Well if it had settings for the IDs it could be disabled that way, but again, don't see it in the flansmod config file. Which honestly, I'm surprised flans is as popular as it is considering the high lack of configurable settings.
Loader Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Ironically, it's highly popular because it's highly customisable (Just not in the way we'd need for that)
Rocketgun2000 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I would just download the infiniX modpack. It has all the planes and tanks in the creative tabs and in the vehicle crafting table.
Melfice Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 (edited) InfiniX is "a pack for the players by the players", which means it's invariably got IC² in there (quick check says that's true). That means another pack that is perpetuating the use of an outdated and bloated mod (made more convoluted since Greg of GregTech "fame" took over. Or has that changed in the mean time?). At any rate, despite how cool they look, the planes and tanks are incredibly buggy. And with the other mods included in the pack, entirely useless. Somebody entirely "gened up" probably has no problem taking out the vehicles. Neither would somebody who's all "tinkered up". Or "witched up". Or... Or... EDIT: Also, it's a bit classless to make your first post a post advertising a modpack inside an only marginally related topic for another modpack. Edited July 19, 2014 by Melfice Kalbintion 1
Loader Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Poor taste aside, it would also be really easy to just add the flans mod expansion plugins into B-Team. The base is already there (and because those items already have their item ids set there's usually no conflicts at all!)/
