Cant get Factions to work

ok so i have a tekkit lite server and i cannot for the life of me get factions to work, i have Mcore as well but neither of them are working or even creating config files in the plugins folder,i've tryed numerous versions and ending with factions 2.2.1 and mcore 6.8.1 before throwing in the towel. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Hello,

 

Not sure what is with the white text but anyways, make sure you have Java 7 installed!!! You need Java 7 in order for this to work.

 

Try using factions version: 1.6.9.4 http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/factions/files/51-1-6-9-4/

 

and Mcore version: 6.0.1 http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/mcore/files/12-mcore-6-0-1/
