How to convert Tekkit Lite to Tekkit?

You don't they are different packs, to use tekkit you select it in the launcher

If, by chance, you are trying to transfer a world from Tekkit Lite to Tekkit, you're probably better off just starting a new world.

Also, isn't Tekkit Lite Tekkit but without as much mods? Why not?

Tekkit Lite doesn't necessarily have less mods; "Lite" just refers to it not having Bukkit, unlike its predecessor Tekkit Classic.

I still don't understand. Why isn't it possible to convert a world (Single player) on Tekkit Lite to Tekkit, like the main Tekkit, NOT Tekkit Classic. Thanks.

Well, one of the reasons is the difference in the mod loadout.

 

For example, Tekkit Main doesn't have IC2 or Redpower.
