If you truly did your research, you wouldn't make such an uneducated assessment of the situation, which has been fully hashed out in these forums and explained so many times I'm giving you the abridged version. Any name-calling on either side results in auto-probation, minimum:

I did a little research into why forestry will not be includedI read some posts on MCF and here, and found out the creator of forestry implanted a some code to SPECIFICALLY cause conflicts inwith the Technic launcher.

He did this due tobecause of the fact this Tekkit the Technic team and most other Ppacks (ie Yogpack) dodid NOT ask permission from the mod creators to redistribute their softwareMinecraft mod. They just bundle shit up make it semi-workable, pack and **profit.

I understandagree completely with forestry as to why they did this. Hopefully another "Technical" pack will come along that will out dueoutdo what Tekkit has done. Oor some other solution comes out to make running modded serverservers a lot simpler. I wouldhope this will happen sooner since the Bukkit team is now officially part of Mojang. ButThough, we haven't really seen anything from them other thenthan Bukkit updates and bug fixes lately. Or prehapsPerhaps the modders will figure out that the end results would be less buggy if they actualyactually worked with the creators of the mods there they're using.

Here's a story.

Technic added a mod they really shouldn't have to ask permission for because they cited credit, hosted the mod for fucking free, and made it easy for users to donate for a mod they enjoyed.

Sengir put in malicious code to fuck with the players (not the technic team) who use the technic pack.

The Technic Team, who gives a shit about the players, removed forestry so they wouldn't load up their game and find it fucked from nasal to rectum. Sengir removed the code recently after learning they removed it.

It's gone from the pack, it was handled poorly, players caused a shitty storm about it and people decided it would be fun to just shitting all over the Technic crew because of it. A crew, mind you, who does all this for free. At their expense, makes a pack for us to skip the tedious chore of making mods work together while providing free hosting while making it beneifical for the modders financially by way of the donation page.

I MEAN JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
