hiotewdew Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I need to know every single way I can interdimensionally teleport at a saved coordinates except for Mystcraft Linking Books in Tekkit 1.2.9e. Quote
Kalbintion Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I cannot provide a thorough answer without looking at what mods are in the pack, but I am wondering why you want to know this information more-so than providing an actual answer. Quote
Curunir Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) As far as I am aware, only Mystcraft and Dimensional Doors provide that option. You already mentioned Mystcraft, and DDoors will require you to place one of its doors at the desired coordinates, which will allow you to build a kind of "teleporter room" in any other dimension. This is still indirect, so Mystcraft is the only option for direct teleporting. P.S.: Apart from using Linking Books directly, you could opt to build Mystcraft Portals from Crystal blocks. Add a Book Receptable to the Portal, put your book in, and the Portal should light up. Edited September 6, 2014 by Curunir Quote
Niverton Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Dimensionnal door has a linker tool that allows to create two linked rifts in the same or in other dimensions, you can then place any dimensional door on one rift and when you walk through it you are teleported to the other rift and a door matching the one you placed is on the rift. You can also use QCraft quantum portals Quote
EvilOwl Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) In creative mode you can use the /tpx command. Edited September 9, 2014 by bochen415 Quote

Kalbintion Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 A server that has banned mystcraft and dimensional doors doesnt seem like a server I'd want to play on. Quote
Niverton Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 A server that has banned mystcraft and dimensional doors doesnt seem like a server I'd want to play on. Not the topic here Is there no way to get ice that works with qcraft ? Quote
Moderators AetherPirate Posted September 9, 2014 Moderators Posted September 9, 2014 I've tried as well. Something to do with the ID of vanilla ice being changed. The portal doesn't see it as the right ice. Quote
Kalbintion Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Not the topic here OP responded with the information, I responded well within it. It's not like I brought it up out of the blue, same goes for this post. It isn't off-topic. Quote
Curunir Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Is there no way to get ice that works with qcraft ? I'm not familiar with the actual problem, but you can always prevent an ice block from melting, or form one in the first place, by placing Gelid Cryotheum in the immediate surroundings. Quote
Niverton Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Just tested, there's no way of obtaining vanilla ice, always freezes to MFR ice, so QCraft portals won't work. That's a problem, because it's a main feature of the mod, I'll put an issue on the tracker if there isn't one already EDIT: Issue on the tracker Edited September 10, 2014 by Niverton Quote
Kezr Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 qCraft portals also does not work interdimensionally. Sadly there's no setting that makes cooling the qPortal configurable. I can't really see why it's needed in the first place; just makes an annoying and pointless mod even more so. Quote
Niverton Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) MFR overrides vanilla ice, the glacial precipitator makes MFR's ice. QCraft has nice features, you can make hidden entrances and exits, teleport structures and portals to other servers. The only problem is that the last two don't work in Tekkit because of ice EDIT: also if you guys confirmed the issue on the tracker (with the buttons on the right) it might help Edited September 10, 2014 by Niverton Quote
