isaacjay69 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) I just started playing Attack of the b team. I got bored so I tried adding a server. I added a server and when I went to play it, it said "Can't resolve hostname". I tried joining numerous servers and they all said the same thing. Edited September 7, 2014 by isaacjay69
Kalbintion Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Sounds like security software stopping the connections to resolve the hostname, that or you have a virus of some description that has taken over network control (less likely, but these are out there). Disable security software temporarily (google for instructions) then try again, if the issue is resolved, respond here if this method works or not. Also respond with what security software you have.
isaacjay69 Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) I disabled my Norton security and it still didn't work. I don't think its a virus because my servers work on vanilla minecraft. I figured out the problem. I was trying to run 1.6.2 servers, but, I still have a problem. if I try to join the 1.6.4 servers it says bad login. I tried re logging and it didn't work. Edited September 7, 2014 by isaacjay69
Kalbintion Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Relogging how? If you went to the launcher and logged out from there, then re-logged in, it shouldve fixed the issue.
