Hey guys, so basically I'm having an issue with my tekkit server. K, so the problem is, when I try to spawn a Tekkit items (Quarry,Tin ore ect..) I get this error. "There is no such item with ID ###" I'm not sure what I did wrong or if I'm missing something, but when I play single player, every tekkit item works fine, but when I spawn tekkit items on my server, it gives me this error, I've noticed that I can see all the tekkit ores in single player, but when I take that world & put it on my server I just see black blocks or shadows of where that block use to be on single player mode. By the way, I'm using both the server and Launcher on 1.2.9e , I'd just like help from this, THANKS !

Common issue if you don't use the launch script, which is launch.bat for Windows environments and launch.sh for Unix (+Linux/MacOS). The script will start the correct server type with the default settings. Only if you manually launch minecraft-server.jar, you will encounter these problems. Why? Because you are not running a Tekkit server at all, but a vanilla Minecraft one.

This means that the world your server generated does not contain any mod ores. So you should start over once you get the server launching sorted out, or move to an area that had not been generated yet. Retroactively fixing this with MCEdit is possible, but neither safe nor easy.

Safe and easy. Open MCEdit, switch to chunk view, select all generated areas besides the one, four or nine chunks you want to keep (your base etc), delete them and save the world.

I do it every week when testing mods.

I said that because it is easy to shoot yourself in the foot with such powerful tools.

Always make backups before tinkering.

I ran the Tekkit.jar file, it works fine with the Tekkit mods, but I've got mods like "TREECAPITATOR.FORGE.1.6.4.R09.UNIVERSAL" that doesn't work on the server, anyone know of this?  I've got a "Mods" Folder, but I'm not sure if its loading, or is there a Client sided or Server sided problem to this?
