FCPWiz Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi, I'm setting up Solder with Technic Platform 2.0, and when I put in the API URL, it says that the URL is in the incorrect form. The current URL: http://solder.paradox-pack.com/public/index.php/dashboard/api What it wants: http://solder.paradox-pack.com/api So, I talked to GoDaddy, and they said it's not possible from their end. How can I change this?? I've seen many Solder sites that are shortened, so it must be possible. I hope someone can figure this out for me! Thanks!
Kalbintion Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Any particular reason you cannot simply just move the installation from /dashboard/api/ to /api so the /api link points to what you would have received from /dashboard/api. And there is a way to do this via the DNS. They are CNAME, ALIAS, and URL DNS entries, all valid for top-level domains [CNAME isnt recommended for top-level] and sub domains/urls.

I meant to say: http://solder.paradox-pack.com/public/index.php/api/
