I put those files in modpack.jar insted of minecraft.jar?

I would like to have more ore generation on my server Where can i change these settings with the included mods? Thermal expansion? I would like to "repopulate" some of my chunks that i have. Could Bukkit WorldEdit do this for me? And i would like to see the chunks befor i do it. Or would MCEdit be the best chose for reseting chunks? Thanks for answers and for the new Tekkit!

Just have to wait for Tekkit 1.1.0 that will be MC 1.5.2. Or do cobble pipes (cheap!) and get your lava/oil. Or just put down you machines near the lava/oil sources until you have enough to get tesseracts

Becouse 1.5.2 is the latest and bugfixed ^^ they dont care about modpacks as Tekkit, just for latest Minecraft. I have thoughts about doin an own modpack with the latest mods for 1.5.2 with the mods thats in Tekkit. If i want to transfer my world to that, just copy paste?

The dupe is fixed in the next version, but that is for mc 1.5.2

The best here is to make an own modpack with tekkit as base isnted of using tekkit.

They have updated to tekkit 1.0.6? And your server are updated to?

Ye. There are still some mods that is under development for mc 1.5.2. I have taken backpack mod away from my server until the dupe bug is fixed

The Limbo is the place you will get to when you fall down into the void in dimensional. If you go down as far as you can in limbo, you will get back to overworld, but to an random place.. i started at 240, found an door, and fall off... ended up at cord 17000...

Doesent like that you get an ingot when mining. Doesent make sense when all other ores are giving you blocks or entities like coal and redstone. He should make an change in that texture on ore blocks... looks awfull.

It looks like the secound energy source i go for. I always start of with the steam engines to get some power to work with. You just gave me some idés about using tesseracts to get power for the pump insted of using 4 redstone engines.

I have some thoughts about installing ubuntu server on the server computer insted. I have it at my side, and its not connected to an keyboard, mouse or monitor. Ubuntu is able to start up and autostart the server without that you need to log in to any account to the server computer?

Some internet suppliers change ip sometimes. Dont know realy wy but they do, like mine. It changes everytime i restart my modem.

I looked in, i think it was TE config file and saw that it was enable there so to get that lightblue dust is just to pulverize ferrous ore?

I wonder if Iridium is just to be found in The Nether? how easy is it to find it there and is it at some altitude?

Ye i have looked that up, but befor that i want my mc server to save the world, and then turn the server off. after that i want an scheduler och script to restart the computer and turn on the minecraft server again

Install Optifine_1.5.1_HD_U_D1 (latest for 1.5.1) in modpack.jar that you can find in .minecraft/technic/tekkit/bin folder

Did you update all files on the 1.0.6 server so they look just like the one in 1.0.5?

Optifine HD D1 works for me to. Its just some flickering on TE machines thats my problem now, but uts just the textures. I tried Shaders to, but its a little unclear for me now, but i think i used optifine version A8 and shadersmod A8. None of the others worked for me.

Hi! I have an private server on an Windows 7 Pro computer for me and some friends with the new tekkit 1.0.6. I have tried to search for an good way to shedule: 1. save the world 2. turn mc server off 3. then restart computer 4. autostart minecraft server once every day at like 04:00 Anyone have an nice setup for this?

Ok Ok. Those things sounds nice to have. But I ment more for performance for the server. Say that I install ubuntu server on a machine and host my mc server on that. I'm not looking for any windows vs Linux war ighter, just wanna see what other users experience are and thoughts about testing my self
