Eh, one could take the easy route there and blame the media for misinterpreting those and feeding it's versions to the masses, but at it's core, the problem is that even if the media never mentioned these things, people would still not care enough to look past what they heard some random person say, who in turn heard about it from his cousin, who oversimplified things when he explained it, etc, etc.

I vote in favor of having the blocks keep moving during lag. It lets you know that something's still happening, and that something is not quite right yet. When things look like they have finished, but actually don't work yet, I get annoyed. I'd much rather know what's going on than have things look pretty but not always work. May I, however, suggest a config option for this as it seems to me that it would not effect servers?

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying, but lapiz ore does spawn at all heights. In vanilla, however, lapiz had a wide height range for spawning, but a low overall concentration. I wonder if this particular behavior has carried itself over to hexxit.

This sounds similar to a network issue I had a while ago. What kind of network are you on? (Or rather, who's network are you on?) The launcher does weird things if the network blocks it from doing its thing.

As much as I want to agree with your plan, that would probably just destroy a lot of companies with a flood of stupid lawsuits. Any everyday product that has a warning label probably won't be lethal enough. We need to find a way of increasing the leathality of stupidity to the point of almost guarenteed death.
