True, I had almost forgotten about Iron Man 3 coming... If you could incorperate some GLaDOS into there, you would have the perfect robotic trifecta of awesome robotacle-ness! The ending and aftermath of Imscared is easily the most messed up part if you don't know what's coming. I think I'll start to play The Witch's House now, and If I can manage it, I might do a Let's Play of it. If I do, I'll post a link. Now I'm tempted... I usually prefer slow building and atmosphere, (Imscared, Slender, Etc.) over tons of jumpscares, but... maybe after I finish The Witch's House

Hmm... Have you tried installing Optifine? I haven't tried this myself as I haven't really had any problems with Hack/Mine, but that would be my first reaction. I'd go with the Multicore Edition (Make sure to use the correct version for Hack/Mine!) -Here is a video on how to do that- (If you are familiar with modding, you might not really need that though. Just make sure to install Optifine last.) My second, (mildly cheat-ey, but far easier) reaction would be to use peaceful mode every once in a while for a second to wipe out the excessive amount of entities. My last-ditch option would to try running it with 1gb of ram. (Although you may want to try this first.) Some people have reported that launching Minecraft through the Technic launcher with less ram actually helps combat the game's decent into horrible framerates as you play, (I myself have tried this with relative success in Hack/Mine).

Wow, that is a work of art, especially for MS paint. You have my applause. My avatar is actually one of the files the game spits out later. I figured out that the images and text files are actually how it "saves" how far you are in the game. So you can mess with it that way if you want to replay a section. Any-who, how far have you guys gotten? (I've beaten it. In fact... my cousin has a "let's play" video that me and him did somewhere when I was showing the game to him... he only lasted about until he saw the "Let's play tag" in blood on the wall after white face captures you the first time before chickening out.)

May I recommend, "Imscared"? As a computer person, It certainly messed with my head. I don't think there's a creepypasta story behind it, but it definitely fits the feel of one. On a side note, has anyone here ever tried "The Witch's House"? While it's decidedly un-creepypasta, It looks promising nonetheless.

Well then, that's a little bit different. In the event that that does happen, I could help make sounds and/or spells. (I'd still have to learn how to handle the spellscript, but I have a good grasp of programming conventions and could probably learn it pretty quickly.) I assume you mean, "my coders" to mean the people you gather in this thread? Or do you already have some people lined up for the job?

As much as I applaud your enthusiasm for furthering the progress of the already-fantastic Hack/Mine, the mod was just overhauled about a month ago, (with a rather large re-doing of the spell system, I might add), and patched more recently than that. I think Frizzil can handle the monsters and code for now. An add-on that added new sounds on the other hand, would be very nice, as the blatant re-use of the spider's sounds for almost every other monster in the game is getting kind of annoying. Also, with the new spellscript system in place, you can make your own spells and even submit them to Frizzil for possible inclusion in the game, which would be another great way to help. For example, a falcon punch spell (longish chargetime, huge knockback + fire setting), for the warrior would be all kinds of awesome.

Is the redstone on the same level as the base of the EMP tower, or did you raise it up a block? It dosn't work if you try to connect the redstone to the middle of the EMP tower. If this is not the case, then I have absolutely no idea why it would do that.

Fission is pretty good, depending on the amount of charging you have going on, but uranium is fairly scarce, and non-renewable. If you have the uranium and resources for it, a 4 core fusion reactor and a handful of advanced solar generators will generate a pretty good amount of power. However, last time I checked, a fusion reactor can process water into fuel, and they also produce more power. You also may want to consider investing in an LHC that can produce antimatter which can be used in a fulmination generator to generate a large amount of power. So, fission is OK for a while, but in the long run, you're gonna want to upgrade to fusion. Hope this helps!

In my experience, Windows 8 is not actually the horrible crappy OS everyone makes it out to be. The metro UI just has a really steep learning curve. I have learned both, and I still prefer 7 by miles, but as far as the UI goes, 8 is really not that horrible. Just different. As for compatibility and tweak-ability… yes, it does have issues.

Asher, delete your .techniclauncher folder and try again. Next time try putting your question in the appropriate place please.
