CPU overload because of loads of unwanted processes.
Maxis010 replied to Aldenar's question in Technic Launcher
If you find a pack like that, don't try to download it anymore, and if you are feeling nice put a message in discussion about how the pack has been poorly assembled and point them to the forums Any unpacked mod won't work as Forge will ignore the files because they aren't .zip or .jar (I found that out when I renamed mods .disabled when I was troubleshooting) -
Error (Sorry if this is the wrong place)
Maxis010 replied to DreamingLord's topic in Big Dig Discussion
For future reference there is a bug report section further down the page, I'll help you this once 2013-06-11 16:42:56 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There was a problem downloading the file argo-small-3.2.jar automatically. Perhaps you have an environment without internet access. You will need to download the file manually or restart and let it try again Either delete your lib directory and let it try again or install the file manually -
Unfortunately Industrial, it's not the forum account that is the issue It's the platform account, the username is tied to an incorrect e-mail address Unless such registrations are set to expire after so long without admin intervention (or data loss) that username is unusabled

If you are using Solder then go to your Solder installation and comment out the key, this will break the link and allow you to create new packs, simply uncomment the key to restore the link I have made a topic about this previously but it was a while back so I'm not surprised you couldn't find it If you are not using Solder then I'd put it down to server stress
-
Which modpack are you trying to download, because it should never be unpacking class files AFAIK

http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/board-rules-and-guidelines.3918/ http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/luke%E2%80%99s-hopefully-comprehensive-modpack-making-guide.44197/ I believe both of these topics would be a good for you to read
-
That would be because of the warnings from moderators (or higher) you have received, I went over your post history and checked (it's not stalking till I get the camera out) and here they are http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/i-miss-industrial-craft.46463/page-7#post-382261 http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/i-miss-industrial-craft.46463/page-8#post-382329 http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/is-this-the-end-for-big-dig.45698/page-6#post-382820 You can edit your posts in any topic you can post in, might I recommend doing so instead of constantly double posting or triple posting, or quadruple posting...have you done 5 posts in a row yet? The constant lack of basic forum etiquette or any idea what the rules of this forum are is not welcomed here, the warnings are a sign of that I'm trying to not backseat mod here as I've recently had SimpleGuy give me a friendly warning but honestly, mod or not I know what happens to people that display this level of ignorance, automatic temporary ban from high infraction points, at the least P.S Go ahead and say how I'm being nasty/insulting you etc This is me, choosing not to just take the piss out of the above, and actually help you
-
You generate your pack via a Solder installation The link to jar method doesn't support it
-
Post a bug report in the right section (Tekkit Bug Reports) and you will get better results
-
At 3(?) infraction points you get Kellered, you will need to wait for a mod or higher to find out how long those points will remain active
-
I would love to see people look around the forums and see the dozen or so OTHER topics on this very subject
-
If you don't like it, make your own pack, that's all this is to them, a pack for minecraft which they are sharing with us They could just as easily say "screw you guys" privatise their pack and run/shutdown platform
-
Wow, way to take the wrong way When I recommended the What's New I meant so you can see topics as they crop up I don't read every topic in every section, I read what looks interesting, to find that I use What's New
-
You should read these forums a little more (I recommend the What's New link at the top) as jakj has been working on a replacement for a while now http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/all-carriages-implemented-wip-redstone-in-motion-june-8-testing-version-9.45583/page-9
-
Redstone In Motion now in full release as of June 23
Maxis010 replied to jakj's topic in Mod Makers Market
...sure, what he said -
Disassembly has been added to Steve Carts, although I doubt it has been added to Lite
-
There isn't one

I've already had a friendly nudge from a moderator lately so I will resist the obvious meme INSTEAD You know, you could take a look at the code, it's on GitHub and fix this yourself, instead of telling a hobbyist to do it
-
add -nogui to your command line launch
-
Absolutely. But not here.

I'm looking for a server I can just build on.
Maxis010 replied to TheyCallMeElmo's topic in Voltz Discussion
Well how about instead of asking us to find you a server you go look for one yourself, as mataroyale said, there are 7 server sections, one of them is for voltz -
You can try MCEdit Use it to kill all mobs in your world
