  1. Don't sign your posts Set Xmx high but Xms really low This will give it a low allocation but allow it to request more RAM, once it starts requesting the RAM allocation is actual use
  2. Oh it happens, but WHERE it happens, that is what you need to work out
  3. Single player is a local server, so people can connect via LAN
  4. CanVox has said that the mod author for Meteors has been informed I have said
  5. BetterDungeons has been reported as a source of lag and from a private page I can say "Uninstall it, now" I would replace it with DungeonPack but it's nowhere near as good on the loot front (From "multiple trips required for all these diamonds" to "Loot? What is Loot?")
  6. Uh...that isn't how you Op someone Shutdown your server, edit ops.txt, add your name, save ops.txt, start server
  7. In Firefox and Chrome you can get a web developer addon which allows you to override the disabled status of any form element I can NOT promise it will work here but it's worth a shot
  8. Temporary fix, turn off disenchanting (eplus.cfg)
  9. This is not a launcher bug, you would be better off posting this in Platform Pagoda http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/bans-will-be-handed-out-for-posting-modpack-bugs-here-from-now-on.30664/
  10. Either host from your computer or find someone else willing to pay for it
  11. You don't need a Platform account unless you are making a modpack or want to +1 existing packs To use the launcher just download it from http://technicpack.net/download, save it somewhere and then run it
  12. Looks like a force loaded chunk indicator
  13. Your launcher hasn't downloaded the default packs, try running as Admin
  14. You played it before it was built in to the launcher, impressive, since it was made by the Technic team and only available in the launcher
  15. F9 Chunk boundaries is NEI, not Optifine
  16. You can't, either the file does not exist or was linked badly As for manual install, see above, without that zip you can't get this pack
  17. It's better dungeons Chocolate is a reference to BetterDungeons, not chococraft Entity Type: BetterDungeons.TurtleBoss (chocolate.mods.BD.mobs.EntityTurtle) Can't help you with the fix though, when I ran a pack with BetterDungeons it caused crashes anywhere between 6 and 48 hours after I started the server by sending an int to a float value (This never referenced BD in the log but trial and error proved it)
  18. I'm not sure, but I did some research in light of this, it's for an injury specialist law firm
  19. Go mining around lava, or a meteor that is still hot, increased item yield because your shit isn't being destroyed Any yet. Worst. Enchantment. Ever.
  20. Please call 1-800-TECHNIC for a full refund If your call is not answered then please be PATIENT and try again later
  21. http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/hexxit/Hexxit_Server_v1.0.0.zip The one and only download location It's not being overwhelmed, I just went to the page and checked the link, it's all working fine
  22. Your modpack.jar structure is modpack.jar/modpack/forge Whereas mine is modpack.jar/forge My modpack.jar is just a renamed copy of the zip I downloaded from minecraftforge.net And when I said jarmods, I didn't mean mods and coremods, I meant non-forge mods that install direct to the jar
  23. Found another issue, your modpack.jar file structure is /modpack/forgestuffhere Unless you are installing jar mods besides Forge then just download the copy of forge you want and rename it to modpack.jar, this is how I've always done it since my modpack.jar's always resulted in vanilla MC Doubt this would cause a damaged download but it still needs fixing
  24. I don't know what you are using to compress your pack but whatever it is has used an old method of the Store That shouldn't make much difference but the other issue is you have uploaded the jar and zip of the exact same mod, forge will try to load both and report a conflict You could also try getting 7zip and using that to zip your pack
  25. There is no mirror, and unless you can perfectly mimic the launcher's cache files to fool it into thinking it downloaded everything then no luck Considering how the launcher unpacks each file after it finishes downloading it I'd try modifying your launcher settings (Enable perm gen and up RAM etc) as that is likely the cause of the lag, the unpacking
