So I recently acquired a new toshiba computer. It has plenty of RAM, and i7 processor, the works. But it has windows 8... WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY???? But seriously, would it be worth the time an money to uninstall it and install windows 7? All I wish to do with it is play steam games, surf the web, and use Microsoft office programs. Are their any real compatibility issues or microsoft oversights that would make these tasks tedious or problematic?

Or you can recycle your old unfinished projects. Or just "remaster" some if your older works
