I usually ban block breakers. 'But they are for cobblestone generators or makes it easier to make obsidian' you might say. There is thermal expansion for that. Why do you allow block-breakers? I've only seen them used for cobble gens and duping/griefing (frame quarries are really rare or usually banned).

I've used Distribution pipes. If you have separate lines as long as you get those ratios correct (1:1:1:1 for energy crystals) and different ratios for incoming carbon plates. Another method is Having a supply of diamonds, redstone, and ever increasing supplies of carbon plates (or coal if you know how to use the system fully) using Logistics pipes. Can't go too into detail but I have used the Logistics for making almost anything with the push of a button. -
cerevox those aren't the issue, this is the moving arm that moves back and forth that usually disappears upon removal of the quarry. It is like a laser in that it isnt a block but interacts.

Anyone have an idea of why my grass is not spreading? I'm seeing sheep turn the landscape into a brown mess. Plugin perhaps? Just wondering if anyone knows where to look to see that. Only happened once I updated to 0.6.1.

Restarting the server as Malawi said should fix it, that really sucks though if even that doesn't work. I'm pretty sure even placing a block around it and re-breaking the block won't even do anything.

Multiplayer as in a server you were playing on? If they haven't updated and you have you can't play unless you downgrade. And thanks Nirreln, that link cleared up a lot! I had seen that link when I googled what was removed but wasn't sure if I found the right link.

I heard in this update Batboxes and Transformers got removed and it does indeed say "Removed IC2-Transformers" Meaning, when updated there were several items that vanished. Now I can do more investigation into this later but meanwhile I'd like to get this thread posted. I have the old launcher running our server's current build to log in and the new launcher running the new version for singleplayer. ID of Batbox = 227, same for both... seeing as I actually saw it still existed? I am so confused. Any answers or discussion would be appreciated guys/gals. Edit: It appears it was only the "IC2-Transformers" Like the pneumatic generators and electric engines (that were glitchy as it was) were removed (total of 8 items).

Make a factory like I did if you haven't. Not just any factory an HV factory. Not just ANY HV Factory, a non-EE2 HV Factory UU matter ---> Solar Panels + Transformers ---> HV Solar Panels Its possible, I got to over 1200 HV's over a long time. The UU ratios and chain crafting recipes are a challenge if that is what you desire. Even if you don't want it to be fast (Requires lots of power). I made one that was powered off of 25 HV's, then one powered off of around 200, then one off of up to 1500 (didn't reach that amount). The faster the UU matter comes in the faster you have to process it!

Banning the crafting (on anything not just certain mods) I haven't seen; banning the use/placement, however, I have. It will probably be harder than classic to find these plugins just fyi.

Without EE2 I ended up with some 1200 or so HV solars, they seemed to cap out in Eu/t (I'd get the numbers but the server got wiped/hacked). I had 3 Mass Fabs pumping out around 8-10 uu/s in the end, all feeding a factory that converted uu->Solar Panels -> HV Solar... kinda made it pointless to play at that stage. Anyways, the point is that there *was* a cap on how many it could take unless I was doing it wrong or the wiring was capping out. You don't need a power storage device in between the Source and MF. Some people think charging 30 MFSU's then turning them on to a MF is cool but they really just wasted all those supplies on their recipes. Just know that the MF is like a black hole, it will take nearly all it can get (unless you've played too much) and I don't recommend hooking it up to machinery as well. I have dedicated machinery power and all Excess Power hooked up to a mass fab on current tekkit lite.

I've experienced the issue of a tank not receiving liquids properly. Not sure if its the same issue as you are describing but I'll describe anyways. It appeared mainly when the tank was empty and nothing more was flowing in. When I later added liquid it would not accept it. My fix: Break and replace the bottom tank. Now liquids should enter. Tip: Keep some liquid in the tank at all times or it might glitch out later. Is this the issue?

You can also use the fertilizer to make automated wheat farms and send them to the item "Fertilizer" which will work in a 3x3 cone in front of it. I'll let you look around to find the other pieces to this auto farm :)

So in other words you like items that destroy other people's buildings, cause map corruption, dupe any item you desire, or blow up the map? I guess if its a chaos themed map... wouldn't last long. If you own/admin a server you would know that you have to expect people to be evil and looking to abuse what they can.

Exactly what Teraku said. There is a point to banning something. Preventing the opening, placing, or using - if there is a will there is a way. Even if its not as easy as with Classic there are ways.

If you're a server owner I have 3 items that should be disabled due to duping. Until there is a fix we disabled them on ours. (Message me with some sort of evidence that you require the information so dupers don't spread the info)

I know our server allows certain people access to '/fly' ? Otherwise jetpack/power armor is the only way I know of.

Quarries are currently chunk loaders >.> Basically as long as the server is online the quarry will continue to mine out the area and results in massive overflow. So many newbz coming on our server thinking our server is bad because we have them temporarily disabled. (We'd prefer to be as close to 20tps as possible) The problem? We disabled chunk loaders & as a result it disables the quarry's functionality, so that needs a fix. I would like to let players use quarries in the resource world but I haven't heard of a fix yet.

Around 450 stacks of Iron Ore? That seems pretty high, but then again with an increase in Iron Ore & a 64x64 running then coming back to find that could be legit.... idk XD I just want to have quarries non-chunk load - if you disable chunk loaders it makes them break. You guys left it as is correct?

Did you disable chunk loaders? Quarries don't work without them, sadly I wish I could have old quarries back so there isn't that issue on our server.

Wait so you said this is a potential glitch? Are you using the tesseract? Also, how big was the quarry? They are now chunkloaders so they will go til done :/ I know they increased the amount of iron ore from classic, just a mental note - don't know the exact #'s.

Are you 100% sure they're not producing Eu/t? You can do check this with an Eu-reader or some storage device attached to it. If it is not producing Eu/t with proper conditions then that can be something different. There is currently a visual glitch with many machines (regular solar panels included) flipping on their sides. I repeat this is only visual and only appears to happen on multiplayer.

KiraKodera is correct with removing the glitchy machines, but I know there is currently something causing machines to visually flip sideways.
