  1. yeah, I think this is a necromancy issue. Attack of the B-Team has the same problem: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Look for "Issue: Server/Client crashes when you joins a server/load the world ( StructureStart issue)"
  2. Try pulling necromancy this time and trying again.
  3. I'm actually working on the 1.7 update as we speak. The mods in this 1.6.4 build are almost all updated to 1.7.10 already.
  4. yeah, I stuck the unextracted versions into solder. It's on my list of things to fix.
  5. Yeah, I've been having pretty much the same thoughts. I think lycanite's mobs are just a tad overpowered in this.
  6. Backup the world, remove better dungeons, see what happens.
  7. yeah, I haven't gone through a complete update of mods yet. I wanted to knock out a few crash bugs, still going through the reports. I hadn't noticed a jetpacks bug in the issues list, I'll double-check. Also, isn't Big Reactors 4 for 1.7.10?
  8. It's been a little while since our last update, but I've rolled up some newer mods that should help resolve some long-standing bugs with the 1.2.9e version. The biggest changes here are to Galacticraft, Computercraft, Bigreactors, and switching Redstone in Motion to the newly updated Remain in Motion fork. We've also tossed in a new BigReactors build, and other Computercraft-related mods should be at their latest (and CC 1.63) compatible versions. The server is available here. As always, back up your current world/server before upgrading! To use this version, configure the Tekkit pack to either always use latest builds or to manually select the 1.2.10c build. This should fix a number of outstanding bugs with crashing tesseracts and Galacticraft blocks, and some Carpenter's Blocks crash bugs should be squashed as well. Let me know if any Computercraft components/integrations stop working or crash due to the 1.63 update. The complete list of updated mods from 1.2.9e (and their versions) are as follows: bigreactors-0.3.4A2.jar carpenter's blocks v3.2.6 - MC 1.6.4.zip computercraft1.63.jar equivalentexchange3-1.6.4-0.1.142.jar galacticraft-1.6.4-2.0.14.1084.jar galacticraft-planets-1.6.4-2.0.14.1084.jar micdoodlecore-1.6.4-2.0.14.1084.jar openccsensors-1.6.4.4.jar openmodslib-0.5.1.jar openperipheraladdons-0.1.5.jar openperipheralCore-0.4.1.jar remaininmotion_1.2.0.zip thermalexpansion-3.0.0.7.jar
  9. Usually that means it's not on the server. I'll check that out!
  10. yeah, I'll fix that in 2.0.1b. EE3 has similar problems, it creates the config with the wrong case under Windows because Windows doesn't care, and then 7zip propogates wrong case to client. I need to do my initial setup on linux, but I get lazy.
  11. I haven't had any problems finding villages. Normal Minecraft NPC villages, right?
  12. I'll look into the offlawn config issue. What's the performance issue with the updated version? Any further information?
  13. That's Ars Magica I believe, adding that little bar. It'll be in beta for a fair bit. I have a pretty good list of things to fix still, and there's only around eight mods that need to be updated before there's Forge 1.7.10 support anyway.
  14. Interesting. Let me check. I have no issues with a fresh download?
  15. OK, 2.0.1 is going live right now. Had to adjust permgen for server.
  16. There will be an update this afternoon to include Antique Atlas and Zelda Sword Skills mod.
  17. There is not a lot of information to diagnose there. That's unfortunate.
  18. I'm still looking for some suitable replacements; the good news is that all of the mods in this pack either have 1.7.X builds or are actively working on 1.7.x builds, so I don't think Hexxit 3.0 will have any major abandoned mods... I'd like more information on this!
  19. Everyone, it's time to help test the next version of Hexxit, 2.0.1c beta for Minecraft 1.6.4. The majority of Hexxit mods have been updated from 1.5.2 to 1.6.4, but unfortunately a few have been lost due to lack of 1.6.4 builds. These include Asgardian Shield, More Bows, and Legend Gear. If you find updates to these I'd love to know about it. However, many new mods are joining the pack! The current beta has added Ars Magica 2, Ancient Warfare, Better Archery, ButterflyMania, Carpenter's Blocks, Dynamic Lights, FinderCompass, LostBooks, Lycanite's Mobs, MagicYarn, Necromancy, Roguelike Dungeons, and RopesPlus, among others. The 2.0.1 update adds Antique Atlas and Zelda Sword Skills. The core Hexxit gameplay remains the same; an emphasis on exploration in vibrant worlds of sprawling ruins, incredible landscapes, and dangerous enemies. The updated mods offer many new and improved mobs/items/worldgen, and the new mods enhance this experience by adding new structures to explore, new hostile mobs to fight, NPC minions and undead servants of various types, vast underground multi-level dungeons, collectible mobs, and some miscellaneous convenience features. The 2.0.1c release fixes installation issues with Battletowers and Dynamic Lights, and also udpated Dimension Doors to 2.3.4 build 353, which has some spiffy new features like Personal Dimension Doors (everyone who enters gets their own private dimension, great for private factory/storage space on servers) and lockable doors (with keys to share!) Carpenter's Blocks has been updated to 3.2.6, and Hexxit Gear 1.0 has been re-added! Please note that compatibility with the 1.5.2 Hexxit build is uncertain; take backups of your existing worlds before upgrading! By no means is this the FINAL list of included mods, and there will also be a round of mod updates soon, but for now test it out and let me know what you think! Please report issues with this beta in this thread. The server is available here. To play the new version, select the small gear under the Hexxit pack icon, choose "Manually select a build," and select 2.0.0 from the dropdown menu. 20. The targetting options in the config file are set incorrectly. 3.1.2 will be going out soonish, but until then you can set the following options in icbm.cfg as you see fit: #################### # sentry_ai_targeting #################### sentry_ai_targeting { B:target_animals_global=false B:target_boss_global=false B:target_flying_global=false B:target_mobs_global=false B:target_npcs_global=false B:target_players_global=false } Toggle the ones to TRUE that you want targetted; probably "mobs" and "boss".
  21. The Voltz 3.1.1 recommended build release brought to light several issues. After consulting with the Calclavia/Voltz dev team and performing extensive troubleshooting, it's been determined that no fixes will be available for any of these issues for an extended time period. Considering this, and the Calclavia/Voltz dev team's acknowledgement that griefing will be a serious problem (even with Worldguard protections), we have no choice but to revert to 2.0.4 as the recommended build. Build 3.1.1 will CONTINUE to be available as a development/beta build in the launcher, and will be re-promoted to recommended as soon as fixes are available. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  22. Yeah, the server-side MobiusCore needs updated to 1.2.2. I have a zip awaiting upload for 3.1.1a to fix this problem, but you can manually update that file yourself. I don't believe it will cause issues with the clientside, but let me know if it does.
  23. Voltz 3.1.1 has a bug involving grief protection on SMP servers. The impact on single-player experience should be minimal. We are maintaining 3.1.1 as the recommended build for the time being, until it's clear whether a timely fix will become available; if not, we'll be rolling the recommended build back to 2.0.4. In the meantime you can manually select 2.0.4 by selecting the small gear under the Voltz modpack icon, choose "Manually select a build", and pick 2.0.4 from the drop down menu as illustrated below:
