Enderstorage has a java 1.7 requirement; build 1.2.8e reverts all Chickenbones mods to their previous java 1.6 versions in order to fully support our Java 1.6 users (old Mac users, this means you!) To upgrade to 1.2.8e, select the small gear below the Tekkit modpack listing, then either "Always use latest builds" or "Manually select a build", choose 1.2.8e as the Build, and then Save. The server is available here. To upgrade from 1.2.8d, simply replace the Chickenbones mods with the following versions: ChickenChunks 1.3.3.3.jar codechickencore 0.9.0.7.jar EnderStorage 1.4.3.5.jar notenoughitems 1.6.1.8.jar WR-CBE 1.4.0.6.jar This will be pushed as Recommended tomorrow morning ideally.

What's in the server log? I don't see anything useful in the first link.

Anyone have screenshots of what's going on?

This is a simple bugfix for Project Red's Java 1.7 requirement that has been causing many of you issues. The only updated mods are Project Red, to 4.3.3.28 You can obtain the new server zip here. For server owners, you simply need to copy over the following jar files (and delete the older versions): projectredbase-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar projectredcompat-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar projectredintegration-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar projectredlighting-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar projectredmechanical-beta-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar projectredworld-1.6.4-4.3.3.28.jar

Tekkit 1.2.8c has a Java 1.7 requirement, fix is incoming.
Skuli posted a topic in Tekkit Discussion
You can either upgrade your java to 1.7 or wait for 1.2.8d, which I'm hoping to have shortly. -
I'll need logs to do any troubleshooting. Please post them!

Disable antivirus on your .technic folder.

Tekkit 1.2.8c has been promoted to Recommended, and you'll soon be seeing prompts to upgrade your pack. The server is available for download here. This is a significant upgrade from a bug-fix perspective. Many Atomic Science/MFFS bugs have been squashed and improvements made. Those annoying broken commands are now working, and a good number of client crashes have been eradicated. Big Reactors has had a massive update this version as well! While no issues have been reported with upgrading to this build, it never hurts to back up your current worlds, just in case. Forge Multipart has been updated to build 250 Atomic Science has been updated to 1.2.0.63 Big Reactors has been updated to 0.3.0A Calclavia Core has been updated to 1.2.0.299 Chicken Chunks has been updated to 1.3.3.4 CodeChickenCore has been updated to now 0.9.0.9 Dimensional Doors has been updated to 2.2.2RC1-311 release Enderstorage has been updated to 1.4.3.6 release Galacticraft has been updated to 2.0.11.978 MFFS has been updated to 3.6.2.56 NEI has been updated to 1.6.1.9 OpenModsLib has been updated to 0.3 OpenPeripherals is 0.3.2 and OpenPeripheralsAddons is 0.1.2 Project Red has been updated to 4.3.2.26 Wireless Redstone CBE has been updated to 1.4.0.7 FMP has been updated to build 250 I recommend updating all mods and configs on 1.2.7 servers.

Voltz beta v3.0.0c going live, many bugfixes included!
Skuli replied to Skuli's topic in Voltz Discussion
Mekanism won't be back in Voltz as far as I know. Resonant Induction and Rotarycraft are some excellent mods, please take the time to learn and love them! -
Yeah, calclavia fixed that bug as soon as I reported it to him, I just didn't have time last night to push out an updated build. I'll have 1.2.8c today after church.
-
Oh goody. Let me see what's up with that. SMP or SSP?
-
A new build is going up momentarily that should address these issues.

No Mars? Probably an oversight. Weird. I'll add it! -

A major Voltz BETA update will be going live in just a few minutes. This updates all of Calclavia's mods to their latest, MUCH more stable versions, and also updates ProjectRED and Mad Science. As always, BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE UPGRADING TO THIS VERSION. The server can be downloaded here. To upgrade to this build, select the gear underneath the Voltz Technicpack icon, select either "Always use latest builds" or "Manually select a build", and verify 3.0.0c is the build version in the dropdown box. Please report ANY issues with this build here. I'm not sure what's wrong, but my 1.2.7 Tekkit works fine WITHOUT hitting any modifier keys. Try deleting/renaming the waila.cfg and then restarting the pack.

please help me my world i need it badly and i cant get it
Skuli replied to salimssa's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Uh, you'll probably have no luck importing that Hexxit world into b-team, and probably will have crashes. If you want to try, COPY the save file from hexxit to bteam, open it up in Bteam, and see how badly it crashes. -
This is due to this issue: http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-378-crash-with-mrcrayfish-furniture-oven/ There is probably an oven with this problem somewhere near your spawnpoint when you log in.

Rename that mapwriter.cfg file to... mapwriter.cfg.broken or something, and then re-launch. -
1.2.7 update causes performance issues on Server
Skuli replied to Artical's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Wow. I didn't catch that. Yes, 800mb is far too little for a modern modpack like Tekkit, even without mcpc+.- 15 replies

What's the fastest digging tool in 1.2.6b?
Skuli replied to Chris Thompson's topic in Tekkit Discussion
I know the Ethereal Shovel can dig dirt and sand at creative speeds, essentially, but can't dig up any other blocks.
