This isn't a good place for this, so if you're still having problems after following my advice, try the Server Op Swap Shop. Anyway, you're missing a in your structure for Tekkit.jar, and the full directory from C: to Tekkit.jar probably needs " marks around it, since you have a space in your folder structure. Also, you're locking the server into using 1G of RAM. I'd give it a range, say -Xms1G and -Xmx1536M or something.

The last post was over 8 months ago, and the server post was over a year ago. I wouldn't expect a response if I were you.

Errr, unless I'm mistaken the Vaio F series has an NVIDIA 520M-740M, or in that range. Those aren't terrible cards (though not great), and should run MC, modded or otherwise, fairly well. The thing is, most laptops have integrated graphics processors, even the ones with an external card. The trick is getting Java, and MC, to run off the NVIDIA card. See this thread: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/fps-problems.39656/#post-326010 A good indicator that you have an additional card would be how well other games run, especially ones you would think would not do well without dedicated graphics (any A-list game made in the last year or two).

Probably because it's an established server host with other modpacks running. Plus I'm in it (or was, until I removed some posts).

This error type is usually caused by an antivirus/firewall blocking the actual mod pack download(s), but can sometimes be caused by an incorrectly configured mod pack. Try shutting off your AV first. If that fails, contact the mod pack creator. Either way, thread locked.

OP, you need to update the content of your post to provide the information requested in the server post guidelines.

I think they'll be lucky if the "modding API" even runs within the next year or so.

You may also need to worry about the installed/working Java version and any issues you might encounter with antivirus or firewall on the other computer. I have had no issues copying Minecraft and/or the Technic Launcher directories or individual modpacks to another computer.

I'm not interested in making your life difficult. I was suggesting continuing to run the server and removing admin/OP (since any OP can OP others unless you remove that ability) powers from someone who appears to be abusing them, and may be either lying to you about it, or hiding it from you. It's still a good thing to allow children to interact with other people, but the amount of power I feel they should be given over other people is...severely limited. Disclaimer: I have a 4- and 5-year-old, both girls, whom I don't allow to play video games yet, so I don't really have a good idea of the maturity level of your average 9-year-old boy. I'm guessing it's not high enough to have a good grasp of when he's frustrating other players with his desire for entertainment/amusement.
