The key to a good trolling is to troll so lightly that the person being trolled doesn't realize it. That's what makes for a good Whale Box thread, especially if you can drag it out for 2 or 3 pages.

This is not a launcher or mod pack problem. It is a Minecraft or server problem.

Troubleshooting: 1) If you account has been converted, you may have to use an email address instead of your login name to log in. 2) Try the regular Minecraft launcher. If that works and the Technic Launcher doesn't, re-download the Technic Launcher after removing all traces of the installation (not just writing over the existing one). 3) Something, such as a firewall, may be blocking the Technic Launcher's access to your internet connection. Try temporarily disabling it, or, if you know how, adding an exception for the Technic Launcher in your firewall or antivirus settings.

They think they're beating auto-censoring when they do that. What they don't realize is that the Technic Forums don't have auto-censoring. You can swear (almost) all you want! Also, your version of Java is probably out of date. Oh, and you're using a Mac.

Argoney: 1) You're in the wrong place, sort of. There's are several bug boards for the various packs, and in your case for the launcher. However: 2) Your version of Java is very, very, very old. You need a new one.

Try the big, bold, Submit a Bug Report button. And don't do this again.

It just looks like you didn't try. You may meet the bare minimum of information, but the quality of the post is otherwise so bad with misspellings and general lack of effort that I don't really feel the need to approve it.

No one's going to be able to help you with this problem without you giving a lot more information, and in the correct location. I've locked this thread. If this is an error, please post in the Hexxit Bug Board. If it's a glitch or other problem you don't feel is necessarily a fault of the pack (or you're attempting to use a custom mod that's not part of Hexxit), please post in the Platform Pagoda section for custom pack assistance (even if it's based on an existing pack).

Yes, she was talking about your post. All the mods are saying is that calling someone out for thread necro isn't cool here, since the rules thread says "necromancy" isn't a problem so much as lazy necromancy. I merged them.

You're in the wrong place. I'll move the thread, since I'm feeling nice today. Quick answer though: it'll just crash/fail to join. Clients need to match the server. Note that this is not necessarily the case the other way around: if the client has a mod the server doesn't, but still has all the mods the server does have, it'll join fine, but the client won't be able to use mods the server doesn't have.

Please read the Rules Post again. You want to look at the fourth post specifically.
