The now currently available server download is a build of the server. It's not a "dev" or "recommended" build because the server doesn't work that way. The client build is still "dev" and not yet "Recommended" because it takes time for servers to adapt and test new builds, and the admin staff here doesn't like to drop updates on server owners like that. Several older versions of the server are available in case you don't want to use the newest version. See the Tekkit page > Server tab.

Or...you could just water cool your combustion engines.

Debatable, and not something we're really interested in arguing. Either way, a warning is about to be issued for a low effort post because the first thing to check (from the Common Problems and Solutions thread) is the AV you're using.

I was thinking of sitting on a wheelboard with your knees pulled up or legs folded under you. You're going to look odd unless you also look overweight. It might not have been such a good idea, in retrospect.

The triple-posting rule can be bent if there's sufficient time between posts. Using Edit doesn't make a lot of sense in those cases.

Get a wheelboard. Sit on it. Dress up as a fat Rumpelstiltskin.
