I will not be sarcastic at all. Use the search bar and Google first, then go post in the Tekkit Bug Board.
-
This really belongs in the Bug Board. With more description.

This is not the place for server posts, as you are skipping the server post moderation we have in place. Directing people to your server post is fine, but I don't see that here.

This is correct. The armor protection for quantum comes from the chest plate, though the helmet does quite a bit of other things.

difference between tekkit and technicpack
Torezu replied to Spencer14's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Tekkit doesn't include any plugins any more, but it's very easy to add and configure ChopTree 2, even if you're not using a permissions plugin. -
I wouldn't go that far.

You'll also want to remove any EE config files and alchemy bag/tablet files from your server folder structure. Finally, your players will lose all EE items and their inventories may be corrupted. Your players will complain, unless you've given them a lot of advance notice to make themselves tons of items with their EE stuff. I have found that servers that remove EE should either start a new world, or just disable some parts of EE that make it overpowered (okay, most of EE then), but you'll get cries of unfairness anyway because some people will have more than others.

Looking for 5-7 Players for my small server.

This is not the place for server posts. Please make a post in one of the server sections, after reading the posting guidelines. -
Magma cream drops from nether slimes, so there's no need to go near a fortress. As for nether brick, ummm, no, not without an alternate recipe being added in custom.

Seems like I missed most of an awesome thread due to travel. Oh well. I'll add some stuff anyway. First: It actually wears off in a week, or in this case now 4 days. I just felt like such a blatant rule violation deserved the avatar switch, but I didn't want to assign it for a month. Deal with it until Sunday. Second: None of these are unwritten. Really. None. Third: In regards to the OP, any and all "warning" you might receive is in the rules. If you don't read them, and then you don't follow them, expect consequences. If you break the rules and don't get points/kellered/banned, it's like speeding and the cop never seeing you. You got lucky.

Edit NEI.cfg, and change lockmode=-1 to either 0 (recipe mode only) or 1 (tool use mode, tools as defined in config file).

No it's not. It's a name for a cool mod pack. That's it. Also, Tekkit = Technic + Bukkit, not your homophone. Edit: Ouch - ninja-posted by Valkon.

Engineer with alchemy bags. The darn things are just too handy to leave behind. I do think it would force me to actually create sorting and storage systems, though...

I would suggest rather posting in the Server Op Swap Shop, as therein lies the type of advice threads you are seeking, and therein reside the type of people that may perchance be able to assist you with your problem.

You could try using MCEdit if you know where the items are, and targeting those specific item/block IDs, and you could try doing a complete server files reinstall (saving the map and the bag/tablet info) - this is less likely to work. Otherwise, either loading a backup or leaving Wireless Redstone gone from the world are really your only options.

Tekkit server kicks me off when i spawn in tekkit items.
Torezu replied to Masamune962's question in Technic Launcher
If you use /reload on the server at any point, it can break mod item crafting and cause issues like this. Don't do it. -
But surely you know how to use Google.
-
You should try installing/reinstalling the .NET Framework, probably a couple different versions of it.
-
You're looking for Transition Rails. They're already in there. And yes, use the edit button next time.
-
Get a new copy of the launcher - yours is quite out of date.
-
How is this a launcher bug? It's barely a Tekkit bug - it's more like a network setup problem.

"Java is not a recognized command" means your Java isn't pathed, or you don't have it installed. I'm going to guess the former in your case. Add Java to your system path variable. Google it if you don't know how.
