yeah have to agree its completely stable we been running it since it came out and havent so much as had a hic up cept the falling through floors but we had that in 1.0.6 too so hardly noticeable now and as far as upgrading is considered its pretty straight forward i think just delete your mystcraft ages i heard that makes it go smoother i could be wrong though anyway then download the lastest server and move your world and configs over and batta bing batta boom im sure i missed somthing there but thats the general idea of course thats just the tekkit server if your running mcpc+ or somthing else then theres probably more to it we added mcpc+ after updating didnt have it before and imo way worth it makes things so much easier

Click the little cog in the top right and allocate 2gig and click the permagen box and try that if it won't let you add more ram then your running 32bit java and you need to delete your java and reinstall the 64bit version

Try giving it more ram and check the permagen box also I find it runs best on small render normal runs ok for a bit but then starts lagging on me and I have to restart to fix it

im not them but i doubt it the idea of this thread is to catch bugs relating to this version of tekkit so they can be fixed before it goes rec which should be soon i think/hope as i havent heard seen any game breaking bugs yet

get mcmyadmin it has a built in scheduler that can do all that and more the pro version was on sale and only cost me 8 dollar cad there is a free version but it only allows upto 10 players but might be fine for you

actually nothing is lost in the books the books will still operate as they did before the dump the only thing that changes is the age they link to gets remade as new when the books are used again the symbols stay the same the books stay the same nothing to do with the books changes at all

dell laditude d630 is a laptop if im not mistaken and has built in graphics i could be wrong but i dont believe you can put a new card in your probably going to need to get a new comp if the above fix dont do it that is theres also some dirext x files that might need updating though im not sure which ones to do this open start and type in the bottem dxdiag run through the tests and post back your results oh and you really shouldnt sign your posts it will get you in trouble as its against the rules better read them if you havent already

There's also a command in game that clears any dims that haven't been used in a while can't remember right now what it is but I can find out after work

its not that bad i remember when we were still dreaming of having and using that much ram and gigs were only talked about for hard drives and hard drives were like at max 10 gigs to be honest i remember before that but im sure im one of the few around here that remembers ram being in kilobytes and a 512m hard drive considered big (yes im talking pre 286 era )

looks to me like your running on a 32bit sys if not then your running with a 32bit java in which case update your java to 64bit but only do that if your computer is a 64bit sys once you have done that (if you can do that) then click the gear box and up the ram to 2 gigs if all that fails delete the techinc launcher folder and everything in it making sure to empty your recycle bin ( not really necessary but i always do that) and redownload/install

redownload the server files i dont think i see that at all on mine

hmmm i bet the best way to do this would be to hook up a mining laser to the system given that it can pull out like 10000/mj fo each ore i think i may try that tonight after work probably start with one reactor working at max efficiency and then see how many gens i can run off it before lvls drop
