i posted this on your vid but i will post it here as well this is good however i see in the api that a defined radius is there as well this would be nice to have i would add it myself but im not sure where i havent done any lua for long time any chance you could a var for that that way i could use it to turn off my me system when im not right infront of the screen also for a house door it would close behind me · ok not just me i guess lol

forgive me for jumping in here and sticking my 2 cents where they might not be wanted but radio if i am reading the other posts correctly (and i think i am) if you simply disable the omi wrench in the config there will be no way around it and there for you will not have to remove the mod now not to tell you how to run your server but one should always keep in mind that everytime a server admin/owner remove's a mod from a tekkit server they will lose players this is typically not desirable,if we examine this principle we learn that by simply disabling the offending portion of a mod you preserve server integrity while preserving server play thus keeping a heathly playerbase and a heathly server thus a win/win so if it was me (and its not) i would do as suggested and just disable the omi-wrench in the config just saying the preceding msg is and will remain my opinion your opinion is yours and mine is mine i of course remain open at all time's to discussion about mine but reserve the right to edit change or keep my opinion at my discretion

hello im trying to figure out if this is possible i would like a player sensor/detector that detects defined players in a defined area and sends a redstone signal so far all i could find was one that detects players online i want this to lock my me system to me and anyone i define access too thanks for any help in advance cheers <---(note this is not a sig just a salutation)

ok i watched it and i got one thing to say wtf are you doing making a tekkit video with your gf when there are sooooooooooooooooooooooo many better things to do with them most of which i cant not or should not mention here aside from that not bad not very informative but not bad if your planning on making more i would suggest starting with ic2 and red power conversion to te and ae seems to be lots of confusion and questions around that also if you got a server and want a hand pm me and dont forget to "show em the cheese baby" lol

i dont believe that is possible you might consider using something like regions to disable monsters in a certain area instead thus making a safe zone

It could be i miss read samurais post for it seemed to me he said place the engine face up on the lava hook up the Redstone conduit to the pump and liquuduct to the tesseract and good to go

I'm sorry we have misunderstanding I was talking about the setup where the engine gets it lava direct from the pool rather then from the pump

Ok i will try to be clearer Once the lava drops down one lvl the engine will no longer have a source of lava now while it's internal buffers are quite large I do not believe it will run with out a source till the pump runs out of lava to pump

Yes that's what I meant and you have a valid point but fairly certain it won't run till the pool is dry

i guess depends on how deep the pool you are using mine is down 2 blocks and still pumping if i was using that setup my engine would be empty

hmmm i will have to look into that btw samurai your pics arnt showing oh btw i tried putting more conduits to my tesseract and i did get more power out so that works of course you also need more conduits coming out on the other end

you should also note phased pipes are not working yet so tesseracts are needed fpr now i see one problem with this set up when the lava drops as it surly will your engine will no longer have lava and will quit

i cant think of any tutorials however its fairly simple if your already familar with the old ways supplies 1 magmatic engine some liquiducts and some redstone energy conduits a pump and one liquid tesseract 1 bucket, a stack of cobble is useful too but one can always use netherrack 1 first get to the nether 2 find a good sized lava pool 3 make a bridge perferably covered with cobble or what ever mats are on hand 4 place your pump just above the surface of the lava 5 place your engine at least 2 blocks away from your pump 6 place redstone energy conduit between the engine and pump make sure to right click the engine side to make it output color orange 7 place your tesseract this too needs to be at least 2 blocks away from the pump 8 run some liquiduct from the top of the pump to the tesseract as well as to the back of the engine 9 get a bucket of lava and place it in the engine 10 finally right click the tesseract and set it to send choose a channel and enable it done now all you have to do on the overworld is place another tesseract and pick the channel you set in the other one and set it to recieve run ducting where you want lava and presto blamo you got lava

if your running group manager or something like it just add player computercraft to a rank with same perms as your reg players poof no more greifing with turtles of course i cant confirm that works but if what he said about it acting like a player which makes sense then it makes sense if you add him to a perm group then no more problem if that fails im sure somewhere there is a plugin specifically made for stuff like this as i can see it being fairly regular problem

i tried to go parallel but i found it wouldnt draw from all cells only one also well im posting here is there a limit to how much mj a tesseract will transfer im not sure if it was just not pulling from all cells or the tesseract not pulling enough additionally i have seen posts saying v12 and such im not sure if that means what i think it means my config is better i think i have 16 engines surrounding conduit like this e e c e e e= engine c=conduit i have that stack one on another 4 high with lava intake in opposite corners and rednet in opposite corners so all together its l=lava r= rednet l e r e c e r e l sorry i dont have a fancy drawing thing a ma bobber but im sure you get the jyst with this config by my calc i get 64 mj/t from a bank my power plant runs 7 banks in all each bank then feeds into three cells in series with a gate on the first to turn of corresponding engine bank when full
