  1. Thanks Gnome, I appreciate the work you did here and glad I could help you find the source of the bug(apparently I guess well). It also helps that I know where CC stores all it's files and change parameters there rather than having to break download and re-write everything every time in SSP.
  2. Sorry that is a nuclear option to fix something that was a 10cent design that could be done the second ingame day.
  3. Not to derail too much but damn, thats gonna suck for the one thing I use autocrafting tables for. Making clay blocks out of gravel and sandstone.
  4. Programmable Rednet Controller. they should be able to do everything the redpower circuits could do, Im just unfamiliar with them and all the tutorials and demos are really weak so far.
  5. OK I think I may have figured out the problem, for whatever reason I decided to enter some extra names in the names section, I then noticed when I restarted the comp it listed the names I added minus my own, It seems to be ignoring the first name added to the list, I am going to test this further and see if this is correct or whether I am just projecting my programming incompetence onto minecraft. YEP THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. Thanks for all your help today Karaktar. Glad we figured it out. Hopefully the Gnome sees this and can correct whatever is causing it, Ya know, I think I know what it may be, it may read the first name as the Key even though its told not to use the key, maybe it is reading that line as the key item, IDK i would have to read through the code again, and I'm not really feeling it atm still gotta work on my 3x3 door.
  6. Yes. Gone into the files for both of those computers, the ports are the same, I assume the sending computer would only light up if a whitelisted player is found, I may scrap this and just invert a player detector if I can get it working, but this project is on the other side of the map from where I am working atm so may not get to it for a while.
  7. If you were curious there are better ways to deal with it, someone pointed out within the last couple days, there is at least one mod that is waiting on an update, the new release is probably already in test, shit it hasn't even been a month since the last update and you are crying that it is being abandoned.
  8. Can we get a sticky or something about the sludge? we are getting like 3 or 4 of these a day it seems like.
  9. Ok heres an imgur album of what Ive got building, I popped one of the redstone up so you could see the interior, and if it looks like more than the OP did, I double sided the door, so it is clean on both sides which shouldn't affect the switch one bit. Viola Something I noticed I don't know if it means anything, but the modem on the top computer has a red ring around it and the one on the bottom does not. may be nothing though.
  10. nope, just not opening, as though either not detecting me, or not sending the signal to the computer above to turn off the signal. Is there a way to change it so it will open when any player is near? this is SSP so I'm not too concerned with the other players issue.
  11. cases are all the same, I've detected no errors on the user side that I can see, and since others are using the code fine, it's either a placement error( I doubt it, tested a setup identical to OP's video) or I'm encountering some sort of problem with a mod or two.
  12. Builders may not work but what you wanted for that task is a filler, which works, and at a cost of zero diamonds.
  13. So I tried to replicate this, used the correct pastebin information however the sensor computer appears to have an issue detecting me, the door never opens. Any thoughts on this problem or ways to troubleshoot? and yes the password and port are identical.
  14. So I have deisgned a working mechanism for a 3x3 door (making a silo for launching my rockets) but I would rather not have to remember the lever sequence and timings for opening and closing it myself, has anyone done this with a PRC or even a computercraft controlled one and willing to share?
  15. It does output in the order provided, but it does all of the item provided until that item is exsahusted or has nowhere to go. Try seeding the reactor with the items you want. Fill the reactor inventory with 3 slots of each type of item and the bus should auto refill each of them as they deplete, if you run out of carrots/potatoes/seeds you will have to reset it but this should do what you are looking for.
  16. Honestly, didn't even know tesseraracts had energy loss, guess I always tend to over produce power anyway.
  17. Well personally I just manually load Redstone Blocks into the crucible, I don't use that much of it. And I just request it at the transposer, seemed the simple way to do things.
  18. Ahh that's what the handsaw is for, didn't really care too much about micro blocks but good to know they are there.
  19. So I have gotten to a pretty sweet spot with my tech level, but recently had a couple issues, the first is having issues getting AE to craft certain things, I have a liquid transposer with an interface on top, with plenty of redstone in it, set to the right mode, but I cannot get the ME network to fill conduit or energy frames. Is this a known thing? Can anyone else get these to work? Also having issues crafting redstone energy cells even with the full energy frames already in the network, she also seems to only want to craft blaze powder/rods once per reset (ie. reset the server and it works once). My final issue is I had a redstone power cell go wonky, the damn thing wouldn't pump out power if it was wired in a series, and also turned dark red like it was empty despite showing full power. If anyone has any insight into these issues advice would be greatly appreciated. Edit: so ignore the crafting questions, apparently I whacked the Interfaces on the pulverizer and the LT, then didn't realize they had a right side to be down. still the power cell issue was weird.
  20. Biofuel is the most sustainable large scale energy source in the game, im running 1 reactor (makes fuel) and 6 generators, that powers my base 2 ME networks a full speed quarry and a moon base. I keep some steam engines for emergency power, if I run low on fuel for some reason but it will soon be fully automated as well.
  21. Nah I've gotten oil in non desert areas, and also in pools with no geyser. You just carry a bucket with you and check the pools, and if you really want leave waypoints labeling them, or signs.
  22. The Aqueous Accumulator doesn't require power, It will pump into waterproof pipes as long as there is water around it also it does not consume the water. Stirling engines are pretty terrible, use steam engines with an AA pumping water too them, it is double the energy for not much more cost.
  23. Wow That would have made my old Tekkitlite LV-solar factory using autocrafting tables like half the size.... oh well now i know, and knowing is half the battle!
  24. I'm pretty sure you always need at least one pipe after the wooden one. otherwise the wooden pipe doesn't know which side to pull from. This is at least my experience.
  25. Welp problem avoided I guess, I'll just start a new world, kinda sucks though, just got to the tessaract stage the day before this occured, was starting on AE stuff. Edit: By that I mean I start a new world shortly after it happened, because I didn't have a fix, now Im just ready to forget the earlier one.
