  1. Make the inner walls of light source blocks: Road Light/Inverted 1/4 Glowstone block, 1 Redstone, 1/16 Plastic, 1/2 Stone Bricks Large Glowstone Bricks 1/2 Glowstone block, 1/8 Stone Bricks Glowstone Bricks 1/2 Glowstone block, 1/8 Bricks Glowstone 1 Glowstone block Redstone Lamp 1 Glowstone block, 4 Redstone The cheapest that I found are from MineFactory Reloaded.
  2. [Edit: I've never seen the Filler misbehave, it doesn't replace blocks, just fill. On fill mode.] You just need 3 surface Landmarks and 1 Landmark in the bottom of a shaft at the depth you want to fill to. For supplying water use banks of Aqueous Accumulators directly or filling a large Dynamic Tank (inside blocks hold 16 buckets each). Aqueous Accumulators require no power, surrounding them with 5 water blocks maximizes output.
  3. 1.Get Water 2.Glacial Precipitator: Water->Ice Block 3.Get Ice Blocks into Filler (In old Big Dig I shoved sand in through an export bus, from internal storage. In BD1.3.9 I couldn't get it to grab ice from a DSU hooked in through a storage bus.) 4.Fill desired destination with Ice Blocks (1 layer at a time or all at once?) 5.Melt ice (Greg's Lights?) 6.Profit!
  4. Universal Cable may be using the power. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/universal-cable-problem.46394/#post-381180
  5. Does Valve Pipe dump liquid? There's a warning not to try something with fuel.
  6. Glass [Edit: As in skyscrapers.] Induction Smelter (Thermal Expansion) -----Ore+Sand->2 x Ingot + Slag(large%) or Rich Slag (small%) -----Ore+Rich Slag->3 x Ingot -----Smelt Slag for Rock Wool (dyes 8x cheaper than wool, withe no bleaching required between redyes) Use sand in a Filler, Quarry, Filler (cobblestone?) to mine and take over the oceans. [Edit: You only need to fill 1 layer with sand. The filler will keep replacing the sand blocks that fall into the water.] Edit: Put the Sand in a Deep Storage Unit while you are waiting. 2 Billion sand before you need another DSU.
  7. Search for Focus Matrix in NEI, then point at a Focus Matrix and press "U". This will get you most of the parts. "Cards" will get you the blank, freq, and ID card. Lots of steel and diamond.

  9. Increase the PermGen? http://www.dbuggr.com/smallwei/permsize-maxpermsize-work-java/ Syntax: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Java/J2SE/Q_24492935.html Lowering the chunk radius from 10 to 9 drops the chunks loaded by ~20%, minus the additional chunk loaders.
  10. The MFR Mining Laser sounds like an improved replacement for the Mass Fab, like the Minium Stone replacing the EE make-a-wish chests. You can still make anything, but you don't short circuit the fun. UU-Matter & EE2 was too close to Creative mode.
  11. A vine hanging in the Smeltery will prevent it from working. Extra blocks on the outside prevent Coke Furnaces from working. You could fill it with dirt and dig it out, to replace invisible blocks. Wrath Lamps and Greg's Lights place invisible light blocks. I think you can block these respawning light blocks with glass.
  12. Powered Furnaces output things on their own, replace the wooden transport pipe and Stirling Engine with a cobble transport pipe, if that doesn't work check the output tab in the Powered Furnaces GUI and set it to eject on that side. You can check and set the input sides there, too. ------Top Left- Front- Right -----Bottom- Rear The Redstone control tab in the PF GUI lets you make it work always/Redstone-low (default)/Redstone-high. With the hopper you need to change the Redstone control to ALWAYS (left button), because the hopper emits a redstone signal if it has any items inside. This signal will prevent the Powered Furnace from operating.
  13. In /config/Mekanism.cfg I found: B:DynamicTankEasterEgg=true on the 4th line in "general {". I think you can set this to false to make it stop.
  14. ME Interface w/Pattern (x pumpkin, x melon, x wheat -> token), request token, wait for completion, cancel request. Edit: Feeding a MFR Bioreactor: 9 DSUs, 9 Storage Buses, 9 Level Emitters (>Reserve), Rednet Cable, PRC (and), Rednet Cable, 9 Redstone Engines, 9 Wood Item Pipes, Item Pipes, Iron Pipes to control flow.
  15. Vanilla Minecraft shears or the power suit shears. Edit: The power suit shears may be able harvest an area.
