Thermal Expansion (Version 3.0) now has it's own form of electricity, called Redstone Flux. I assure you, these are not bugs, they are features. BuildCraft engines cannot be used to power Thermal Expansion machines. Don't worry, Redstone Energy conduits are still capable of outputting MJs, so you can still power your quarry. Redstone energy conduits no longer need to be configured. Just plug 'em in and go, the power will find it's way. You should also know that TE3 engines are now called Dynamos.

I'm pretty sure it's one of the ones that faces the 5x5 square, so it should be one block above the floor.

Atomic Science wasn't removed. A resolution to your problems is near as well. Mojang stated that the estimated delivery date for the Plugin API was early-mid 2014, and seeing as 1.7.6 is going to come out and 1.8 is being pushed back I would guess they're going to see if they can get it in then.

A rookie mistake, I'm sure of it, but...

I think there's some sort of gasoline can you have to craft. -
I don't know about the wireless reciever, but I do know Qcraft portals work on frames.

Lethosos should be banned for backseat moderation. That's my job.

Look up a tutorial for NEI (Not Enough Items) on youtube. It's a simple and extremely powerful mod that can show you how to craft anything in the game. Then, for example, instead of trying to craft something that is disabled you would know to use Machine Frames in place of Factory Machine Blocks because NEI would show you.

That's a shame. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Ask the modpack creator. This section is for help making modpacks.

If you can hunt down some Project Red dyed trees, you can use saplings in place of dyes in crafting recipes. I recommend setting up an MFR tree farm to have a steady supply.

Ignore the ads. Download the launcher from here: http://www.technicpack.net/download Run the launcher. Play AOBT.

You need to connect to Hexxit servers with a Hexxit client.
-
Uhh...what? Run the launcher. It does everything for you.
-
Of course you don't have to update right away. If you aren't ready to move on yet, then don't!
-
Oh, it's not a mod. It's a server. It replaces one of the two .jars, Tekkit.jar I think.
-
This is pretty funny.

As of Minecraft 1.6, mods and coremods go in the same folder, so no problem there. As for Bukkit, use MCPC+. It has bukkit and forge built in. I can't give you the link as I use the standard server software myself, but I'm sure you could find it if you google MCPC+.

Umm... tell them how much its worth upgrading because there's so much cool new stuff? This is the kind of thing you should know going in... You could also try copyying player.dat files over to the new map. If your players fill their inventory with blocks of redstone and metal and wood and such, they could get a head start on the map.

how to make my tekkit lite server 24/7
dwwojcik replied to cruicky71's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
Akliz sponsors Technic, I hear they're good. -
I don't see why it wouldn't be.
-
No. The Technic launcher uses your Mojang account to log you in. You only need a technicpack.net account to make modpacks, not to play them.
-
We're talking about the same Email, right? The same one you use to play vanilla?
-
Have you migrated your account? If so you need to put in your Email address instead of your username.
