Well, no. That's not what I meant. You can upload and play a modpack that has 0% permission from the modders, and the pack will not be taken down. Of course, following the modders wishes and asking before uploading is polite.
True. It depends on what you are used to, and also what you need the jetpack for. Building (especially tall stuff) would be much easier with Y = 0, but I think you can move much more quickly with Y = 100.
If the mod is configurable in that way, in the configuration file that is automatically generated when the mod runs.
If the mod author did not include that sort of funcionality, your only other option afaik is a bukkit plugin.
Y control = 100 is pretty fun, though. It feels like you're actully swooping and stuff, more jetpack-ish. I enjoyed it greatly when i used it back in Tekkit Lite before it was configurable.
As long as all the mods are for the same version of Minecraft, the worst trouble you should have is block ID conflicts.
RedPower 2 has not updated and likely never will, but as a replacement you can use Project: Red and Redstone in Motion.
I'm pretty sure it works with any block with an inventory. I've seen an ME Interface put items into a chest, so I doubt ender chests would be a problem.
If you hook up your sawmill (for example) with an ME Interface, when your system tries to craft something that requires wooden planks but can't find any it will automatically utilize the sawmill.
That's NEI btw.
Well that's good, because you didn't accidentaly start the server with Minecraft Server.jar. I'd suggest trying a new world, and if that doesn't work redownload te server.
